I dont recall having ever heard of anyone going off the derech to go to the christianity, have you? A normal frum kid will be just fine but restricting your kids is a recipe for disaster. I know you dont care about them, but you care what your friends will say when your kids are otd. so leave them alone; they’ll be fine and you’ll be happy.

Who would not want to know if the person they are considering for marriage is a smoker or not? Some won’t rule them out. Some will, and that is their right.

This is a very different question for men and for women. It seems you are asking about women, but I’ll respond about men.
Perhaps the answer is that there just isn’t enough time or money, kind of like why some guys have never been to yeshiva in Israel. Its a great idea, but nobody has time to do every great idea. Its a matter of priority.
