☕️coffee addictParticipant
Lucky cookies,
I wish I was still in miami beach (its sooo cold in NY and its not even fall yet) 🙂
☕️coffee addictParticipantYup this goes here that goes there I just get tired thinking about it
☕️coffee addictParticipantDisregard that post was too tired to think straight
☕️coffee addictParticipanthi welcome please have coffee in mind he hates NY and would love to be with you!!!
I should’ve moved here when I was 10 and forced to by my parents like adorable 😉
☕️coffee addictParticipantHi, enjoy ur stay (don’t get on the moderators bad side though)
☕️coffee addictParticipantFunny
☕️coffee addictParticipantNo way!
☕️coffee addictParticipantI’m sorry I’ve never heard of this mitzvah which mitzvah is it?
☕️coffee addictParticipantGoq I’m appaled you don’t know the kew gardens community (and you say your from queens) kew gardens is metropolitan and lefferts kew garden hills is main street
And adorable, I did its the stores I didn’t choose
☕️coffee addictParticipantAdorable, actually I moved to kew gardens (not kew garden hills) because of the community the downsides are specifically the conviniences (no restaurants, except 1 which opened up) (no grocery stores that you can wheel a carraige around) I know kew garden hills is 2 miles away but we don’t have a car yet
☕️coffee addictParticipantshticky guy,
that reminds me of one I made up!
who was the ultimate twitterer?
Moshe Rabbeinu (He had 600,000 followers for 40 YEARS
☕️coffee addictParticipantDr pepper, yes I have my in laws live here and I’ve thrown stuff out in recycling but it wasn’t until I got here that I understood the magnamity of the issue.
You HAVE TO throw it out in white garbage bags
you HAVE TO crush up boxes
☕️coffee addictParticipantTrue — but at a cost of many billions of dollars to build a large filtration plant. Given the hostility towards taxes expressed in forums such as these, this isn’t going to happen.
I’m sorry but if the taxes are outweighed by not having to buy bottled water it’s probably worth it (btw, have you seen the dirt in filtration devices and that could be just from one day all the way to half a week
☕️coffee addictParticipantdz maybe some places feel like a zoo not where i am B”h, i have been in New York for 11+ years and it has become my home, my hometown will always be special to me but i live and breathe New York now. (still hate the yankees but that will never change)
where are you originally from Goq
☕️coffee addictParticipantI dont get it. Unless you own a home in nyc, renting is so much more expensive in nyc, than any of the oot areas you mentioned, you’d make up the difference in no time. No relatives are wiling to loan you the money?
It’s very comparative to Miami Beach (North Miami Beach is cheaper though)
May I asked what enticed you to leave your former community and make the trip to nyc?
My wife
give it time. change takes time.
you sound like Obama
☕️coffee addictParticipantCoffee addict, “kol haschalos kashos”! I hope your move gets easier with time!
I hope so too
☕️coffee addictParticipantI googled it, and I don’t see how the “restricted freedom” effects you. Unless you smoke marijuana, tobacco, or homeschool. Most of the “excessive” laws are for protection.
or pay taxes
New York has by far the highest taxes in the country. Property, selective sales, individual income, and corporate-income taxes are particularly high.
there are two things that are guaranteed in life Death and Taxes
‘it’s an example as to how controlling this state is’
Recycling is for your own good. The environment is polluted enough.
so is eating healthy, oh wait there goes all the kosher restaurants
so is breastfeeding, oh wait there goes all the formulas
so is not driving (people need exercise) no more cars
even though it’s for your own good forcing people to do it is bad (if I put 1 powerade bottle in the garbage can I can get a ticket, btw while were on that topic, you HAVE to clean out the bottle before disposing it)
☕️coffee addictParticipantzichmich,
good one!
☕️coffee addictParticipantthe second to last line of my OP
and for those who are going to tell me “so move back” you have $3,000 to give me so I can do that (that’s the cost to move all my stuff)
I’m broke just moving here
☕️coffee addictParticipantcoffee, so where would you like to be? Please name some places.
back in Miami Beach, Somewhere in NJ, Baltimore MD
I throw recyclables in the regular garbage with no problem.
lucky, I was told that on the block their is a person designated to be the recycling moser
You can — and halachicly must if you are drinking it — get a water filter in your house.
I know that I’m complaining about that because an expensive one is expensive and the cheap one (the one I have with the cotton inside) is annoying and eventually adds up, when NYC can provide the filtration themselves like every other state
As I said before; the city is like a zoo, its nice to visit as long as you know that you have a home (not a WIC) to go back outside the city. If you live there you feel like in a cage.
agreed
coffee addict, where did you see this ranking?
google it you’ll find a bunch of sites
It’s funny that for you, “sick of ny” correlates to recycling 😉
it’s an example as to how controlling this state is
☕️coffee addictParticipantwelcome to galus, you expect to win
☕️coffee addictParticipantmosherose,
they would say it’s discrimination
also it’s possible a frei yid would out perform the frum ones
☕️coffee addictParticipantI’m voting for Baguette Bar. Sounds more upper class to me
sounds more Israeli to me
☕️coffee addictParticipantyou should think the opposite that you’ll be happy with whatever you have and that’s it
☕️coffee addictParticipantalive and well,
1) I’ve never heard of this gemara (that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist though)
2) dying would probably mean of natural causes (I don’t think if a person went out partying on a Friday night and got drunk and got into a car accident and died that he would go straight to gan eden)
☕️coffee addictParticipantWolf – “The bas kol said that Acher’s teshuva would not be acceptable.”
that’s what acher heard that doesn’t mean that’s correct (a person can interpret a bas kol however he likes and that’s how he interpreted it)
☕️coffee addictParticipantthe Coffee guy???
oh so now i’m Colombian? 🙂
☕️coffee addictParticipantAre you then willing to say for certain that anyone who committed suicide did NOT say Ashrei three times a day?
yes I’m saying he didn’t say it with 100% KAVANA
☕️coffee addictParticipanthealth,
look in the yersuhalmi,
☕️coffee addictParticipantwolfish,
possibly (you can’t rule out that Hashem will protect him)
☕️coffee addictParticipantme to koillel
☕️coffee addictParticipantwolfish,
R’ Meir said he thinks Elisha Ben Avuyah did teshuva
we still quote him in Pirkei Avos, I don’t think we would quote someone that didn’t get a kaparah for what he did
☕️coffee addictParticipantI don’t think “saying” it is the same as SAYING it
if someone has complete 100% kavana by Ashrei where he’s actually praising being jewish he won’t want to commit suicide
☕️coffee addictParticipantIt’s a beautiful site, I signed up for some gemara
☕️coffee addictParticipantWhy is it ok to insult all the truly mentally ill people in the world by suggesting that rishus and evil can only be perpetrated by mentally ill people? Why is it so hard to accept that 100% healthy individuals are more than capable of doing the most horrendous acts of violence?
I’m saying the opposite only sane people can be rashaim
☕️coffee addictParticipantAishes Chayal,
I was thinking the same thing over shabbos
☕️coffee addictParticipanthaifa,
it is lay down look it up on m-w.com
☕️coffee addictParticipantI am also indecisive. I’ve heard that it stems from being center brained because you see both sides of an issue
just swallow it and make a decision that’s what i do whatever happens after will happen anyway
☕️coffee addictParticipantWIY,
the reason I’m asking is if he’s “normal” then he is considered a Rasha and therefore the dinim apply, if he’s crazy then he can be reffered to as a shoteh and the dinim of rasha doesn’t apply

Out of thousands of people out, this is who Leiby met! #786271☕️coffee addictParticipantidk abt that tweet are you saying we shouldn’t do anything to help that this situation doesn’t occur from lectures about teaching our kids not to be so trusting all the way to looking inside ourselves and the community as a whole
July 15, 2011 12:16 am at 12:16 am in reply to: Hamaichin Mitzadei Gaver! Out of thousands of people out, this is who Leiby met! #786269☕️coffee addictParticipantTrue but crazy now the question is why?
☕️coffee addictParticipantIts a good point amd maybe theirs a connection to the bombings in mumbai
☕️coffee addictParticipantAdorable, I wouldn’t mind
☕️coffee addictParticipantSee,

I can’t even follow this thread totally
