most things depend on the particular surgeon. my surgeon keeps the patients in the hospital for 3 days. i had my surgery on Wednesday and was back in work by Tuesday but most people take 2 weeks. my surgeons post op diet is also different then pilot1s . after about 2 days my surgeon wants his patients to go straight to mushys and that last for three weeks and is done together with shakes until you can get enough protein in through actual food. also even though the sleeve is permanent and the lap band isn’t many, many lap band patients needed theirs removed and were unsuccessful, many more then with the sleeve. in addition to soda and coffee your also not supposed to drink with a straw in the beginning. you will not lose weight if you eat the wrong things. pilot1 said the key- its a tool and an awesome tool it is but its up to the individual to use it correctly .hatzlacha
masonMemberI did it . Its been done for a long time as a part of the DS surgery so really its not a new surgery. my experience was amazing bh i lost 70 lbs in a little more then 3 months, i feel better then i ever had . the actual surgery was a very pleasant experience. if you have any specific questions id love to answer them.
