    this is all a scam.

give the money to a personal tzedaka straight to Hashem & daven yourself with your heart for help & get help straight from Hashem.

    in reply to: children #1122996

    unlimited amount.

there is a chiyuv for each person to have 2 children-one boy & one girl-to be yotzai in the mitzva of pru u’rivu. you can have 10 girls with no boys and you still have not completed the mitzva

in reply to: boys staying home #1132946

    No

Every boy is different and some don’t feel mature enough to become independent to go out of town for Yeshiva. Others want to stay local for other reasons. How many reasons can you think of why today it’s more popular for boys to stay local then it was 20 years ago?

in reply to: Bands and one man bands #1126160

1 man band is much better & more affordable without anyone thinking that your poor & cant afford a full 5 piece band. theres no need to go broke on all your wedding expenses when you can manage just fine by staying regular.

“GET WHAT YOU NEED NOT WHAT YOU WANT & DESIRE”

no need for the fanciest hall or most expensive caterer or full band with a singer to pay also. THESE ARE ALL EXTRAS.

in reply to: Republican candidate #1121258

    Cruz for president

    Trump for entertainment

Hillary Clinton for corruption and destruction

in reply to: Internet & OTD #1121550

OTD kids that get turned off. the turning point that starts them heading there is lack of love & care from parents & rabbeim etc… it also includes a lack of self-esteem & self-image

in reply to: Jews listening to non Jewish music #1121834

you must be correct what you said. don’t believe the torah either it was written by Moshe when Hashem gave it to him. but don’t believe it cause he was a human being

in reply to: Jews listening to non Jewish music #1121831

Read the sefer about all the different kinds of music and what the effects of each kind are to you and your neshama. Then you will see how it effects you and your way of life and Yiddish Keit

in reply to: Jews listening to non Jewish music #1121824

Too sad R”L that today’s Jewish singers with their crazy rocket music are exact copies of pure goyish music songs with just changing the words.

in reply to: Why do working people tend to not be as ruchniyus as Kollel people? #1176965

cause they are more surrounded in the gashmiyus (physical) world as they travel to work & deal with people while taking them out to eat etc…

Kollel people are locked in the bais medrash and removed from the tumah of this physical world. “a blessing that we are not all blessed to be with”

If you have the opportunity to remove yourself from this olam hasheker (physical pleasurable world) & put yourself with a straight relationship with Hashem-the melech malchei hamelochim-don’t pass it up. (how honored would you be to have a face to face relationship with President Obama? would you give up the opportunity)

I can prove from this letter that you are very bored and have nothing to do with your precious time of life that Hashem grants you each day to live another day.

    “UVAChARTA B’CHAIM “

Find something better to do with your precious time. Go help a friend or fellow Yid and show Hashem that you deserve this gift of life cause you know how to spend your time wisely

Everyone with an issue fools him/her self into thinking their issue is nothing serious and there’s no reason i need to marry a person with issues.

80 percent of solving any issue in life is the person admitting to the problem he has. The rest is solving the problem.

When people are ready to honestly admit that they have an issue then it will not be hard for them to marry a different person with issues.

in reply to: Is all the kvetching hour own fault? #1119861

welcome to the generation of today of instant-gratification where everything is ME ME & ONLY ME so if something doesn’t go exactly as the person want it to go it becomes a big kvetch.

in short: WE ALL HAVE OCD & don’t try to change something from the way i like it….

in reply to: YWN voting thread #1121958

    im voting for Cruz

Trump is pure entertainment. i will enjoy till the last minute

Clinton is totally corrupt & dishonest & deserves to be in prison. only reason she is not is because she is secretary of state (of corruption)

BOTTOM LINE:people will vote for trump cause they like his talk & wouldn’t mind another 4 or 8 years of it. today we are not voting with our brains anymore…

in reply to: Why can't we all just get along? #1119984

    the physical human arguing:

The human being like to argue due to the need for self-esteem & self-image. when a person argues with another, he knows he is being heard & also gets the feeling that he is a human living person. It is important for each person to have a high level & good feeling of self-esteem & self-image but there are other ways of doing it then with arguments & fights. perhaps go out and assist your brothers with some help & the chessed you do will definitely make you feel good & raise your self-esteem & self-image.

Another reason why people can’t all get along:

every person likes to feel that they are in charge & know whats best for their family or job they work at. If you cannot handle to listen to your boss who supports you cause you want to argue & have the say in the company’s next plan, then you should not work as an employee. We should all thank Hashem for giving us a parnassah to support our families. for that we owe hakaras hatov to our boss for hiring us & bot someone else.

A person should not buy a burial plot for himself as this puts a ayin hara on him. A person is allowed to leave a will and include burial wishes in it without worrying about ayin hara

in reply to: MODERN ORTHODOXY: The Fundamental problems #1119038

so are you telling me that Ner yisroel of baltimore is Modern orthodox since they live by & go with the motto of torah im derech Eretz?

    you asked:

“Why is it that “open orthodoxy” manages to attract so many modern Orthodox Jews, young and old?”

cause they make it easy to convince them to go even lighter in yiddishkeit & be convinced that they are still frum.

in reply to: Labels exist to facilitate discrimination. #1118259

theres always something to be proud of yourself. something you have accomplished in the past, in your earlier younger years. your wonderful spouse, your wonderful parents who raised you. not everyone is as lucky as you to have such special parents. you should be proud of them

in reply to: Labels exist to facilitate discrimination. #1118257

when a human discriminates someone else it makes him feel good & think that he is perfect with no issues & raise his self-esteem & self-image.

its sad that this is what people need to do to make them feel good. aren’t there other better ways to make you feel good? how about looking at your life accomplishments brought through hard labor? look at your large beautiful family you are raising & all the success Hashem has given you at work with a great parnassah. there’s no need to label & discriminate people to make you feel good.

don’t live fancy waste tons of money until your almost bankrupt C”V learn how to make a budget & live within its means so you can have a happier & healthier life. now isn’t that way better then just looking fancy. isnt living worry free worth more then dressing & living fancy with the latest technology & clothing?

in reply to: Kollel Guy Seeking Career Advice #1118970

guess i am fortunate & blessed to enjoy my job

although it includes assisting people in depression & others with marriage & relationship issues etc… now how does a person enjoy this? i enjoy helping people get their life back on track. nobody deserves to live a life of stress & depression. i chose this so i can help remove this from people & help get their lives back on track to normal & that makes me happy.

in reply to: Cell phone information #1118034

i have done research on tons of phones & cant decide between either the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the LG G3 phone.

if you know about these phones. which would you advise more & why. they both have they pros & cons between them

in reply to: First Round-table Discussion #1117931

the outcome of this weeks parshas vayechi is that we can all learn from yosef Hatzadik-who was king over the entire mitzrayim-from his kibud av v’aim of not burying his father yaakov in mitzrayim to prevent him from becoming an avoda zara if he would be burited there.

we can also learn from this weeks parsha that a person cannot run away from his destiny that Hashem has put for him/her. Yosef brought his children to be benched by yaakov & placed them & then yaakov crossed his arms to put his right hand on the child that he saw b’ruach hakodesh should get it even if yosef put the other one on yaakovs right side.

OUTCOME:you can get a bracha from your rav or rebba like yaakov avinu gave to each of his children a bracha perfect for them & their future shevet. but the best way to get the best bracha & help is to go straight to Hashem without a shliach (rebba) between you & Hashem

does it come with a removable battery? this is one of the tops on the list. cause i use my cell phone as a business phone assisting people on it all day. so i need extra batteries to switch when they die before the day is over

a person needs to enjoy his future/what he does for parnassa.

you can pay me $500 an hour to be plumber or electrician etc… i still wouldn’t be successful cause i don’t enjoy doing these things.

do you have a desire for growth in PT? do you enjoy it?

Ever heard of peer pressure? Sometimes people have no choice and need to live on the same level as their peers even though they are not as rich to afford such expensive clothing and fancy Simchas .

I ADMIT IT’S SAD THAT WE HAVE REACHED THIS LOW LEVEL

the rule says don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The problem is we do.

When a person looks at you . You only have a few seconds to make a positive impression on them. As the saying goes “you never get a second chance to make a first impression “

in reply to: Mothering Adult Children #1118205

Today’s day our children are not maturing as young as they used to when we were kids. Due to the technology generation we are in we also need to keep an eye on our children much longer until they are about 20 and mature enough to know for themselves how to stay away from bad things that effect their frumkeit

The less Tumah and gashmius you bring into your home while your children are young the earlier they will mature and be secure to remain frum without the need for you to babysit them

thats what you say & thats where i am now. with an old fashioned phone they stopped making years ago. all my friends say “i am still living in the stone age”. but it won’t last forever. so better to find a phone now before my current phone goes bad.

in reply to: School Board Monitors in Lakewood & East Ramapo #1157023

why don’t they just solve the courtesy busing issue by each parent sending their children to a school more then the required mileage to get mandatory busing.

there are over 35 school choices for each boys & girls plus tons of both high schoools & mesivtas in Lakewood growing town to pick 1 school for your children & they are spread out all over town that you can find one more then 2 miles away from your home address.

money is todays avoda zara R”L & this is why the economy went down. we bow down to money & serve it like a god R”L Thus we left Hashem no choice but to take it away from us.

“What I cannot do is save any money.”

1)sit down today with your spouse ASAP & “make a budget” (if that includes clothing only for 1 yom tov a year versus 3 then start doing that) start to write down your expenses on a computer & write both your paycheck also & see what the balance is at the end of the month.

2)Start to live more with “What you need not what you want”

(from what you wrote above, can you honestly say that everything you buy are NEEDS & NOT EXTRA FANTASIES?)

3)put all your credit & debit cards in your wallet behind other cards (like library or insurance cards etc…) so you wont pull it out like its nothing every time you see it. When a person pays his bills in cash it has a value & the person can feel it versus a credit card. (although you do get the bill at the end)

4)Go to your bank & tell them to transfer automatically a certain amount of money each month from your check to your savings account. (some people do $100 others more/less) you will see it start adding up

may Hashem be with you & give you Hatzlacha

in reply to: Hillary is such a jerk! #1118493

she is worse then obama & would destroy this country more that all obama has done already.

she is so corrupt & really deserves to be arrested for many reasons from benghazi to other corruptions but can’t be arreasted due to being secretary of state

in reply to: Donald Trump is a jerk. #1137591

Hillary Clinton is a bigger jerk and if elected to be president would be even worse than Obama

Trump is free entertainment and enjoy him while he lasts. He was transferred from the political section of the newspaper to the entertainment section already six months ago
