While Rav Eli speaks out alot of Rashi he doen’t learn it inside the text of Rashi, While he delivers a good daf shiur he does not do all the rashi’s. Try another of the online shiurim.
I was taught by the Baal Tokeah of the shul where i grew up to wash the inside of the shofar with vinegar a few weeks before rosh hashana. Pour it in and let it sit overnight. pour it out and rinse with water.

ujm: my father didn’t wear a kittel because he didn’t own one, not because he had a minhag not to wear one. He started wearing one when he turned 50 and was given one as a present. and he wore it on leil pesach and yom kippur. so when i asked my rosh yeshiva what to do he told me to wear one both on yom kippur and the leil seder.
My father didn’t own a kittel until he was 50 (he used my maternal grandfather kittel at his chasuna). Does that mean I cant wear my kittel until I’m 50? My father didn’t like an atarah on his tallis (felt it to be to heavy on his head). Does that mean i cant wear one? I think that is absurd. My father always joked about me wearing a tisch bekesher. but i started when i bought a house. My some of my sons wear one now. and we are yeshivish with some litvishe leanings.

I recently was in this situation. I knew the nifteres’s son-in-law from my mesivta days , I went, sat, for a few minutes, spoke to the avel, wished the aveilim Hamokom and left. The next day my sister sent me a text message stating how the person sitting shiva appreciated that I took the time to come and be menachem avel.
Lose a day of learning for what? Maybe do a 5 minute ceremony to say a keil malay for those jewish soldiers who died in the war and back to learning.

That is only true on the eastern seaboard of the USA.. There are plenty of other places (e.g. Australia, Northern England to name 2) where the hours are much different.Rabbi Shmuel Kamenetzky said when asked to asser the internet “How can i asser something that contains hours of learning”.
i only know of Rabbi Tzvi Caplan’s yeshiva which does this for the first two weeks after Pesach.

i dont eat it all year why should i eat on pesach? My family eats it though..
do you start Maariv when it is still Shabbos? if you haven’t made havdalah it is still shabbos for you so it s not hachana.
if you have a supplier out of state you can get them if you pick them up.
