You have a point but I am reffering to all those who consider after sunset to be safeik layla safeik yom for all other halachos. There are many such people who eat seuda shlishis as I have described.

As for how Shimon could marry his full sister even though this is assur even for b’nei noach, here is a possible answer to this difficulty.Chazal say dina did not want to leave the city of shechem until shimon swore to marry her. This has a din of Pikuach nefesh since dina staying among the Goyim equals shmad which has a din of pikuach nefesh. Since a ben noach does not have a din of yehareg v’al ya’avor it was mutar for shimon to marry dina. Even though they had a din of b’nei noach, leaving their special belief system had a din of shmad. This is actually a very broad subject but this forum does not allow for lengthy discussions kemuvan.

The Torah says a few times(this repetition itself requires explanation) that Osnas was the daughter of Potifar-Potifera.So even according to the Medrash that she was the daughter of Shechem and Dina, perhaps for the very same reason she is called the daughter of Potifar, she is also not considered one of the special ‘seventy souls’.V’dok-this is a deep concept.(By the way, if the Shvotim regarding many halachos had a din of b’nei noach, then Osnas’ yichus goes after her father as is the din by b’nei noach. If so she is part of the nation of Shechem, not Yakov).

Aren’t there enough mexicans in our own backyard? You don’t have to go to Mexico to see them.

Yeshayahu was from Yehudah. His father Amotz was King Amatzia’s brother. So here’s another question: who else in tanach has the name Amatzia? I’m still waiting for the other Shmuel. Here’s another question(hard): Who was Chavakuk’s mother(she is mentioned in tanach, though not where one would think)?

Sam, arranged marriages work when children trust their parents (or whoever is doing the arranging). That is simply not the case today, and maybe for good reason.

Girls should learn these skills. As far as classes that would get them ahead in college, they don’t have to go to college. As far as getting skills for a job, they don’t need to do that either. Their husband should do that. Girls should learn homemaking skills, boys should learn skills for a job, both should get married younger, and bring holy neshamos into the world.

Hashem runs the world, not customs officials. If you had a difficulty, do Teshuva. Of course you can then try to correct the problem. It would not be a chillul Hashem since it is normal in any country to resolve customs issues.

Who said girls should be going to seminary in the first place? And for that matter who said boys should go to post high-school yeshiva for so long before looking to get married?

1)Living in Eretz Yisrael is a big mitzva.2)Supporting an anti-God,anti-torah government is a big aveira.3)Living in Eretz Yisrael today supports an anti-God,anti-torah government(directly or indirectly). Conclusion: Living in Eretz Yisrael today is a mitzva haba’a b’aveira. I love Eretz Yisrael very much but Hashem has determined that at present we are not worthy of living in that holy place. We should be machnia ourselves to the will of Hashem instead of doing what we want and building a shitah around our own ‘holy’ desires. Umalchus zadon meheira tiaker us’shaber…

We are all familiar with Shmuel Hanavi. Who else in tanach has the name shmuel? Who are the two people with the name shaul besides Shaul Hamelech? How many people in the torah have the name Chanoch? What are Shlomo Hamelech’s other names(he has four others mentioned in tanach)? And now a hard one: What shevet was the navi Hoshea from?

It is not a shidduch crisis per-se. It is a yiddishkeit crisis. Perhaps if we would revise our values, lots of issues would be resolved. Here are some examples: 1)The obligation to support a family is the boy’s not the girl’s. 2)Sheitels that look like human hair are not tznius(this is a serious issue of das yehudis) 3)The feminist agenda has influenced many girls. They want a career, and to soothe their conscience they say they want to support a husband who is learning. 4)Boys should learn practical Halacha and sincere Avodas Hashem. 5)Do boys and girls really have to go to Eretz Yisrael before they get married? 6)Parents should look for what’s best for their child, not for something to boast of among family and friends (and enemies). Yichus, money, and status will not make your children happier. These and other issues should be addressed and corrected. Hashem is sending us a message. Let us improve ourselves, not try to come up with ideas on how to get around our own problems.
