DaMoshe: You are completely misinformed. First of all Chaveirim do not have “Lights and Siren” This Organization has over 275 Chusheve Volunteers helping Yiden 24/6 in freezing weather and hot weather! They are all working people that donate their time for other yiden in a modest unassuming way. They follow rules set for them in any give situation. Even the NYPD calls Chaveirim when they have a car problem. They helped save lives when children were by mistake locked in a car with 85* weather or the bathroom door locked when a child is inside, etc. etc. These yiden are Tzadikim that will help bring the Geulah sooner. You should really apologize for your negative judgmental comments!

I raised a large family K”H and my children were all very well adjusted and loving to each other. There was no need to Patch or punish, above all I never raised my voice, always speaking calmly, (our neighbors could not stop admiring us they never heard yelling from our house). It is very important never praise or show accesively love and affection in front of the other children. This is very painful for a sibling to watch. Try it, you will see a tremendous difference.

Our children are all married by now and raise their own families, Each have their own Mazel, some are well off, others have less.

There is B”H no Machloikes or jealousy,no difference among sisters or sister-in-laws on the contrary they are always helping each other out, The main think is Daven to Hashem.

    Good luck,

    WORTH READING!

I heard a beautiful story in a shiur given by Rabbi Avrohom M. Alter that is available online. He said the story in the name of Rebbetzin Kanievsky.

In March, someone packed a car with 100 kilos of explosives and parked it at the CineMall in Haifa . It was parked hear a supporting pillar. Had it exploded, not only would it have destroyed that pillar, but other cars in the lot would have caught fire causing the gas tanks to explode. In that very popular mall, the consequences would have been too horrendously tragic to contemplate.

The explosion did not happen. A passerby spotted some smoke coming from the car and alerted the police whose sappers were able to come and defuse the explosives.

Even Ehud Olmert recognized this was a miracle, although he attributed it to the alertness of civilians.

    Here’s what really happened:

Several weeks before this event, a girl in Haifa who had been sick and went for tests was told she had stomach cancer. The tumor was so big, and had metastasized, and there was nothing the doctors could do. They told her to go home for her final weeks.

This non-religious girl and her non-religious parents pleaded with the doctors to try. They begged them at least to make an effort. The doctors finally agreed and told her to come back the next day for surgery.

She was assigned a young, inexperienced surgeon. They felt it would be good practice for him, and since there was nothing that could help her, it didn’t really matter.

The night before the surgery, this non-religious girl pleaded with Hashem. She said to him, “HaKadosh Boruch Hu, when we had the Bais HaMikdosh people could bring you korbanos to plead their case. Now we have no Kohanim, we have no Bais HaMikdosh. But I still want to bring you a korban.”

She went to her closet and took out all her immodest clothing and took it out to the yard and burned them. As her clothes went up in flames, she cried out, “This is my korban.”

The next day this girl went to the hospital in her nightgown. She had burned her entire wardrobe and this was all she had left. She had the surgery. The giant tumor had not metastasized, as was previously believed. It was totally contained. It was easily removed. And it was benign.

She told all her non-religious friends about the miracle. When the girl had recovered enough to get out of bed, her friends brought over all their immodest clothing and made another fire.

Left with nothing to wear, the girls needed new clothes. When that bomb was supposed to explode at the CineMall, these girls were inside buying themselves new, modest clothing.

A miracle that a civilian saw some smoke? Or a reward for tznius?

You go in to any Bais Hamedrash on Shabbos, you will find that women refrain from speaking when its forbidden to, and those few minutes when it is permissible, the conversation is free of Loshon Horah

TZNIUS IS OUR PRIDE AND GLORY!

    The Torah states:

    ???????? ?????? ??????

    Holy You Should Be!

By wearing immodest clothing we distance the Shechina (Divine Presence) from us.

    As the Torah states:

    ??? ???? ?? ???? ??? ??? ??????

Immodesty should not be seen amongst you!

Or Hashem will withdraw his presence from you!

When the Shechina departs, we are stripped of our protection ?”?

Maybe this is why so many tzoros, illness, crushing poverty and unbearable tragedies, have befallen us.

In the words of the Holy Chofetz Chaim tzl in a famous letter:

To a large degree this despicable style negates the statement of the Torah:

Tight-fitting, short, flashy clothing, low cut necklines, long extravagant sheitels, etc. are contrary to Tznius standards,

    Dear Sisters!

Let us wear clothes that are befitting for Jewish Daughters. This will cause the Shechina to reside in our midst. This will bring many blessings upon ourselves, and ultimately bring the Geulah Sheleima ??”?

I just heard a true episode of a woman who was very ill her doctors told her that she would need to go through more than one difficult operation. Then a member of her family saw in it a Gemorah that Pesachdig Matzos is like a Refuah , She started eating matzo everyday with Emunah and a lot of Bituchen, her pain went slowly away, and by the time she visited the doctor, they could not understand what happened she got completely healed, and did not need any operations.

    Have a Refueh Sheleima soon,

I don’t think its a good idea to go shopping on Erev Shabbos especialy on the short Fridays. Friday shopping should be only LeKuved Shabbos like food flowers nosh etc special for Shabbos only.

pookie, sure he will tell you that, what if your friend asked you to put a quarter in for him because he can’t make it ?

Believe me its such a good feeling when you save a Yid a large amount of $ for just a mere quarter, I don’t know exactly how much a meter ticket is, but its sure worth the quarter.

I would like to relate an incident that happened to me personally, a few months ago, and since then I try very hard to stay away from Lushen Horah. Hashem pays back Mido Kneged Mido. One friday afternoon I took the garbage out, when I saw my neighbor of 2 houses away having a very loud and angry argument with his tenant in front of his house, I could hear every word they were shouting at each other. I came back in to my house, I did not mention a word to my spouse or my children, and (mind you it was a very juicy piece of gossip that I overheard)but I did not talk about it. I kept it to myself I even tried mentally to forget about it. Right Motze Shabbos I got calls from customers that wanted my services and I kept receiving more and more calls during the week for more orders! I became unsually busy, with business orders, I saw Siatta DeShomay mamesh!

For those people whose system is sensitive try not to use the chulent mix, but buy sepperately the small baby lima beans, the smaller white beans, barley, cranberry beans, avoid kidney beans those are very heavy to digest, also after I check for bugs etc. I let this boil in water and discard the water do this twice, then cook it your regular way. You will feel alot better after Shabbos. Zim Gezint
