Goq: You fry your pickles? Are they battered first?

I’d eat a battered fried pickle if inside it was really a chocolate bar.

I think LU is asking her to consider who and where she wants to be in the future.

Her choices today may influence that.

Rewind…. Just realized that chocolate lentils are not chocolate covered lentils (in my defense they seriously look like they are and I guess that’s why they seriously called them that).

Btw chocolate lentil brownies look really good

Some people who lose weight find it again.

Some people who didn’t lose weight find more.

Some people lose weight and don’t see it again. If someone finds their weight, is there a chiyuv to return it?

Sometimes skinny women gain weight because of stress and after having children.

Sometimes men too (sympathy weight during pregnancy, it’s an interesting thing; and then stress too)

What if you want to lock it somewhere? Can you do that?

I can see how it wouldn’t belong in the main sanctuary.

Would a shul have a closet or place to lock it in the front area?

Or maybe use a bike lock?

Do shuls have security cameras inside? I didn’t think about it but there was the lost tefillin of blessed me memory search with the video footage.

    Whoa…

    From Wiki:

Nail polish originated in China, and dates back to 3000 BC … red and black eventually replaced these metallic colors as royal favorites.

    ….

In Egypt, the lower classes wore pale colors, whereas high society painted their nails a reddish brown, with henna. It was also known that mummified pharaohs would have their nails painted by henna.

Maybe that’s another reason why we don’t wear red or black, since they’re associated with avodah zara?

Yes WinnieThePooh’s thread link for a nail polish color discussion.

    Again this one:

    http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/tznius-5

I could be wrong but I think even commonly-recognized tznius nail polish colors may not be tznius in some communities.

Some tznius minhagim are community-specific so it’s a question that depends on where you live in addition to further factors.

Please ask your LOR for more info.

    I wasn’t sure what Geordie613 meant.

The USPS person didn’t say “G-d forbid.” I added that part.

She just said don’t do it becaus it could get lost [G-d forbid and then I told her about a card that I sent more than a month ago]

Was that what you meant about them mentioning G-d Geordie?

golfer: If I wasn’t laughing at your “No yays” then I’d be crying.

Since I’ve never been told “No yays” and I know that you meant it, it’s amusing.

Awww. Well. It may have not been the official answer but it does shed light on how some people keep CY and yet will eat it in a kitchen that usually has CS. Meanwhile some are makpid on both a CY and CY kitchen.

And my OP on the other thread asked about how it works in reality in people’s homes and what they consume.

Still, good point. I should ask my LOR for clarification and the real “answer.” Todah rabbah for redirecting me 🙂

NASA says that the 3 planets have habitable conditions, where the potential for life to exist.

That’s exciting b/c back in the day, of all those 9 then 8 then 9 planets, it seemed like life as we know it couldn’t exist on planets that all had their limitations on fulfilling our needs.
