I see a few people by the entrance with laptops.

Are you the one with it on your lap or on the side table?

I was the person walking by with the phone.

Either way it was nice meeting you.

Mod-29, how did you know that Joseph had sour grapes from this thread?

    I didn’t read the sourness.

But I am also not a wine nor experienced CR connoisseur.

So I am guessing you have a better gauge on the hints and flavors here. While I have novices for senses and tastebuds.

Btw.. Do we really stomp on sour grapes to make wine? I thought that only happened back in the day and I Love Lucy.

    Thank you

The staring part really reminded me of myself. I stared at a lady at the grocery store the other week. Like looking at her sleeves elbows sleeves baby boy in her hands trying to figure out if she was frum.

But I hopefully wasn’t staring in a mean way. I told myself that next time I do that I need to say what I was thinking (which was, “I like your dress”)

Actually I was so impressed by her tzniusness which looked so normal and put together, and very mature and classy and it was all loose yet fitted well… that when I saw a similar looking dress last week on eBay for $5, I ordered it.

Dunno if it will fit and this one needs a shell underneath, which I also ordered on eBay B”H. But she inspired me to try something different and has no clue.

LU: Yes. And yet I have no clue. Omgosh I would have never guessed that he was. Could have been. Must have been right? Looked like a regular guy.

I didn’t know what a Rebbetzin was until maybe 5yo when I started learning more about Judaism.

On one hand maybe it was anti-semitism but I think it was more like a Jewish guy making a rude remark who had no clue that to me it was the biggest compliment.

What happens if the location changes over time? I guess nothing right?

Like if someone is living on an island and they list the island but G-d forbid later a volcano erupts and the island is c”s no longer habitable. Wait that doesn’t matter. Maybe if it no longer existed at all that would be weird. But thank G-d that doesn’t happen.

Okay the end of this post before…

    Wow thanks Wolf!

So does it say city and state?

Like Brooklyn, NY? Does it also say USA?

What does it say for people who got married in Jerusalem? Jerusalem? Jerusalem, Israel?

Is the location different for Jews who got married in EY and do not recognize the Jewish state compared to those who do?

Is. Sorry Is. I meant Was in terms of his CR presence and activities.

Didn’t know of he was the Joseph or anti-Joseph of the CR. See his name mentioned in places.

So he posted under his real name?

    Thanks for the info

    I def don’t support it.

It’s not like I didn’t drink when I was younger but now that I know the effects that even occasional use has on a developing brain, and have learned that the brain is still maturing past 21, I do not advocate anyone drinking before mid-20’s.

I know it’s extreme given Jewish culture, and modernity, but call me prude.

We need our brains to live and serve Hashem and I believe it’s one’s responsibility to take care of one’s mental health, which serves as one’s headquarters for everything else one does.

Whoa —A kosher cruise halachic wedding!

I didn’t know that the ketubah has the location of the wedding on it.

Yaakov and Marsha Motzen were joined in holy matrimony in a ceremony that adhered strictly to the Jewish wedding traditions and kosher laws that they both hold dear. Unlike most religiously observant couples, however, they chose to get married on the open seas.

…more than a dozen big-name cantors and other musical luminaries were on board to add their voices to this event, including Avraham Fried, Naftali and Natenel Herstik, Binyamin Helfgot and Dudu Fisher, plus Amiran Dvir and his band. -Jewish News Service

Someone does not need to be visibly drunk to be impaired and have brain damage from consuming alcohol… especially a teenage or young adult whose brain is still developing until mid-20’s.

If you cannot understand that, then I feel sorry for those who look up to you as you serve them alcohol.

Dearest LU: Today is your lucky day!

Google “cholov yisroel peanut butter cups”

The first result in my search is a link to a store that sells just that ~ Cholov Yisroel Peanut Butter Cups

AKA *Gourmet Dairy Peanut Butter Cups* (Cholov Yisroel)

“This product is approved Kosher by the Star-K-Dairy Cholov Yisroel”

Now imho, the cost factor may be an issue at $35. Dunno about shipping to EY. Still it makes for a very special gift 🙂

Today I ordered makeup online and they’re sending me free samples of lip gloss B”H. Dunno if they have carmine but even if they do, I still want to test out the colors.

Would send them to you Shopping613 for your Purim costume… but that’s assur.

    Thanks RebYidd for explaining!

I meant that besides American Girl boy dolls and Barbies, which are inappropriate — are there any other dolls that are a problem, or are the majority of girls dolls in a store okay to buy for little kids?

I’m talking about dolls of little girls, like a baby doll style (not animals or something specific).

    Thank you
