Is the question about coffee or whether to listen to and trust your wife?

Maybe you can also add a couple tablespoons of Nutritional Yeast. It’s high in B vitamins and adds that golden hue β˜ΊπŸ‘‘πŸŒžπŸŒ»

G-d forbid this happens: Wondering what would happen to someone with aphantasia who also experienced a trauma, which resulted in symptoms of PTSD. Would that person experience flashbacks with aphantasia-influenced symptoms? Or what if that person did end up seeing the images again, for the first time — would that feel bittersweet — and maybe lead to a breakthrough, or would it be traumatic and unpleasant and unwelcomed as any other intrusive painful imagery?

On the flipside, maybe a significant positive event could trigger imagery in one’s mind too!?

Sorry if I came across as unhelpful/invalidating… You probably/maybe already shampoo twice.

    Btw::: THANK YOU Tobs!!! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

I just shampooed my latke hair! It was such hashgacha pratis because I didn’t wash my hair earlier today, and was so close to saying “Oh well” and going to sleep with yucky hair (which is such an unpleasant sleep).

So thank you because I went and washed it and now feel much cleaner and calmer πŸ™‚ !!!

Sending you blessings for awesome hair always!

    Shampoo, lather, rinse, and repeat!

Make sure you do it twice!

Always remember the repeat. The first shampoo and rinse doesn’t rid the hair of all of the dirt and oils that you’d like to wash off. It breaks it up somewhat, but the second lather and rinse is what cleanses the hair, as I learned in cosmetology school back in the day.

Also, see what type of conditioner you’re using. Too much drying may make your scalp produce more oils to compensate. Too much oils in the conditioner will make your head fitting for Channukah.

My hair is straight and thin, and only takes a day or less to reach latke levels – so yea, all is good πŸ™‚

FuturePOTUS: Thank you, I personally like getting my regular-secular news from YWN than secular sites. If I see something in YWN that I want more info about, then I can Google it and see what comes up in the recent news feed results, and go from there. Sometimes I do go to other new sites just because, with varying effects. The end ☺

Chaver: When/after I came up with this question, I realized that I had no clue! How could I ask posters to answer a question that stumped me?

Eeeks. So if I was paper, I wouldn’t want my friends to die and be used up to carry my groceries. Plastic emissions may somehow help us breathe. But no. We know that they hurt the environment.

I would starve. But no that’s cheating! See!!! That’s why I am in awe of RebYidd23 for being straight-up.

Goshness monster… Tis true that if I was paper then at least using plastic wouldn’t make me a cannibal. If I was plastic, maybe I could use a different type of plastic? I could use a different type of paper? But that’s all cheating and whatever too.

I don’t know. Please G-d may this not be one of my tasks in life. Unless it’s Your Will Hashem.

So there you have it. TBD. Maybe?

I take OU rolled oats and put them in my blender.

Costco sells an almond flour with a reliable hashgocha (from what I’ve heard). But it’s just almond flour – and for me that’s a lot of calories.

It depends on what you’re baking, and what you’re okay with eating.

    Do you mind/want:

    -Potato starch
    -Rice flour
    -Garbanzo bean flour
    -Corn meal
    -Flaxseed meal
    -Sugar
    -Oat flour
    -Baking soda or powder
    -Corn starch

—Maybe I should also ask, what you’re making.

Do you need a blend (which may give you more consistency and convenience) or can you blend it yourself (which may give you more control over ingredients)?

I too prefer clear drinking glasses, and cooking wear.

I wonder about lead or something added to tinted serving-ware. Then again, doesn’t clear crystal also have lead?

    ****

Tinted auto glasses are popular or unpopular depending on your region and climate, and state (in the US at least).

    ****

Tinted eye glasses are also popular or unpopular depending on your region and climate, type of eyewear (sunglasses and skiing goggles vs indoor reading and/or corrective vision eye glasses)

    ****

Police forces are big fans of tinted glasses for their vehicles and do one-way mirrors (aka two-way mirrors) count?

I used to be anti-fluoride, for nearly a decade! Then I got cavities and read the actual studies that supposedly linked fluoride to lower IQs and whatever – and all meager correlations in one study left out many other factors in why there could be differences between populations – let alone it went on an assumption of generalizing intelligence. — For me it was a reality check, and I realized my fears weren’t founded.

There was more proof showing that populations that consumed boat loads of fluoride aged faster, but that’s in significant amounts – major through extreme exposure in their environment – more through natural means.

    Anyway, now I thank G-d for fluoride – B”H πŸ™‚

Maybe most men back in the day wore hats. Why take them off at shul? When approaching nobility, nonJews would take off their hats before the royals. By refusing to remove their hats, JewIsh men put Hashem before all. Maybe they brought that back to shul, showing that Hashem is above man.

Also, perhaps taking off a hat would have gotten messy. They could have gotten mixed up, and storage was lacking. They could be big investments, and not something to just toss to the side. Perhaps holding one’s hat would also get in the way of davening, especially when it comes to reading from the siddur.

I had an extremely vivid dream of my death last year. I remember thinking that if it was a dream then I wouldn’t have actually died, because all of my life I’ve heard that people never die in dreams – they wake up before death, and this time I didn’t wake up before I died. I was really dead and witnessing the aftermath. I wasn’t sure if it was real but I was so in it that I was just there taking it all in, unsure if I was a ghost or what that meant that I was there watching my mom cry over the accident location. I had died in a bus crash, b”H that was a very powerful experience.

Growing up I also often woke up and would fall back asleep quickly to finish my dreams. Random stuff that’s hard to put into words.

I used to have a reoccurring dream of riding on a rollercoaster. The entire dream was me going through a kaleidoscope of a coaster, sitting up and then on my back. It happened maybe once a month for many months, also in my childhood. Often I hoped to have it again, but I wasn’t in control of when it happened.

    I loved roller coasters.

The first one that I remember happened one night, at home, back when I was still going to elementary school.

I was on the blacktop playing at recess, and then I realized I was dreaming. I was still asleep. I was in control. So I flew. Up and I went, sparing above the playground and higher above the grass. Now I was in the light blue sky like a bird.

I felt so good. No backpack holding me down. No parents. Just me up there. Free.

Thanks Nechomah! 🐢 Omgosh yea I know chicken bones are dangerous and can splinter. I don’t know why people just toss them outside after they eat chicken! So weird. It’s not just where I live now. Over my lifetime, in different areas, of ranging socio-economic statuses, once in a while I’ve come across a chicken bone during a walk – no wait, that’s wrong. I mean – my dog comes across a chicken bone hidden in some grassy dirt, using his FBI skills, and before we know it, I’m there prying his mouth open and grab whatever remnants are left. The look on his face when he chomps chomps chomps is the cutest thing though – like a little criminal sneaking snacks.

And sometimes on the beach he’ll find crackers or whatever, which is actually better than the rest of the stuff that’s sometimes out there.

Thank you, I’m glad you said something to clear it all up. 😊
