“although obviously I can’t do melacha in public on 2nd day yontef while in chu”l”
You can’t do any melacha in private either!

I don’t think it contradicts the Torah, but it contradicts common sense. The past is one and the future is still to come.

I have heard a suggestion from a Talmid Chacham that the reference to matzah is in the word “ba’avur”. As the posuk in Yehoshua says “Vayochlu mei’avur ha’aretz”, “avur” meaning grain. Similarly “Ba’avur zeh” could mean “because of this grain”, i.e. this matzah.

Though I have never witnessed the Keitzad Merakdim practice that you describe, I accept that it happens if you say so. But I am sure no one elevates it to the status of a holy minhag, and demands to know why others don’t do it.

The tznius issue (to me) seems to be the two (or more) extended families sitting in close proximity for long hours without any mechitza. I don’t know why this is necessary; can’t it be done with men on one side of the mechitza, women on the other side, and the kallah coming up close to the mechitza when people are called up to dance before her? Re not having the minhag, why is that something that needs a reason? If I don’t have the minhag, then it’s not my minhag, I don’t have to farenfer why I don’t do it!

“the truth is R’ yitzchak and his sister – the wife of R’ Nosson Vishky shlit”a – were from teh extremely miniscule people who died immediately after taking the vaccine”
In what way were they miniscule people? Perhaps you mean to say “THE extremely miniscule number of people”?

Thanks everyone for your responses. May questions were: 1) Whoever says it was ever meant to apply to all non-Jews and all Jews, rather that just Yaakov and Eisav themselves, and 2) Why can’t there be exceptions, in the very context of that Medrash R’ Shimon b. Yochai is saying that there was an exception! It is true that many non-Jews in the Holocaust turned on their former friends and neighbors, but what about those few who actually helped Jews, often at the risk of their lives? Did they also hate all Jews? And what about a non-Jew in the other end of the world who has never met a Jew in his life, and doesn’t even descend from Eisav? Does he also hate all Jews?

Try davening in a Yekke or Sefardi minyan, where they also do a lot of slow singing in unison. It will take time to learn the nusach, but you will grow to love it, and it is certainly better than davening in a Conservative Synagogue. (Better not to daven at all than to daven in a Conservative place.)

You are obligated to fulfill your Kesuba from the moment you get married. If you can afford to support your wife while learning, keep on learning. If not, then you should be doing whatever reasonable hishtadlus you can to earn more money.

I don’t know you, but I would assume that if you are saying kaddish for someone who has no one else to say kaddish for them, you are not such a “certified rasha gamur”.

I don’t know any source that it is a segulah for parnassah, but it is a mitzvah mideoraysa. Is that good enough?

“the only place where those words are found is in Aleinu”?
The entire fifth perek of Gittin and a large part of the 4th perek are devoted to enactments that Chazal made “mipnei tikun ha’olam”, which basically means to make the world a better place. You can argue about what constitutes Tikun Olam, but don’t deny that the concept exists!

The growing numbers of the Chareidi community versus shrinking numbers of the MO community prove nothing other than different attitudes to family planning. Most people do not give thought to values and hashkofos, they just remain in the community they they were born in.
