When sheitel is not attached and recognizable, her beauty underneath it is not revealed, so there is no hirhur.

The Torah says to cover the hair and the mishna says in Kesuvas 72,1 that even on daas yehudis we divorce the wife without a kesuva. As uncivered hair is not an erva but hirhur, we can get used to it.

Avi K, hair is not an erva. It is hirhur an erva we cannot get used to.
Uncovered body we cannot get used to.

In order the aravos should keep their Jewish good nature they must stay as part of the tzibur, group and not get separated. When they get separated they become hohanos and get knocked off.

The esrug is taam etzo upiryo shava, its taste of the tree and fruit is the same. The child is like the father, who has not swayed from the father’s teachings. The Kappos Temorim compares a lemon to an esrug. A lemon has a lot of fruit and a little skin whereas an esrug is the opposite its is more like a tree.

We must keep the arovas together with the lulav. When seperated symbolically, we need to knock it off. I heard once that the gomlei chasodim unite the other two. The rachmonim want to help but the baishonim are ashamed to ask, so the gomlei chasodim bring them together. כי ‘גבר’ עלינו חסדו stands for the three.

The holiest day is shabbos which has sekila and seven aliyos. It says by shabbos, ‘שבת שבתון הוא לה where as by YK it says שבת שבתון הוא לכם when YK falls on sbabbos, we fast as the kapara is an oneg shabbos. The Chasam Sofer shows the greatness of the neshama. The holiest you might say is the mishkan, the residence of Hashem. Its builing is not dacha, push away shabbos but pekuach nefesh, saving a live because of the neshama is dacha shabbos. So the neshama is the holiest. Maybe YK is the most productive dqy.

The Targym Yonasan on Shemini Atzeres parshes Pinchos says that we are happy to leave the sukkah and go back to the house. The sukkah is the midbor and the house EY. Maybe the sykkah is a lesson fir the whole year’s behavuor by giving up extras using the ishpusin whivh we don’t have on Pesach, so Shemini Atzeres is graduation.

The holy Berdichever explains the Midrash ולקחתם לכם ביום הראשון it should say to take the lulav the fifteenth not the first day, says the Midrash, ראשון לחשבן עונות first for counting sins. YK the teshuva is miyiroh, from fear but Sukkas the teshuva is from ahava, from love converting the sins to good deeds, benefits, so we can start counting our sins.

Chaim Shulem, see Kesuvas (72,1) as I mentioned above where the hair, if completely uncovered, is assur min hatorah, biblically forbidden, the proof is from sota where a married woman’s hair is being uncovered. A shetel is an argument between the Beer Sheva and the Shiltei Hagiborim as I mentioned above. There is an interesting sefer on this topic called Hakeser Vehakavod Lechai Alomim where the talmidim quote their rebbi’s views with their pictures.

The mishna in Taanis says כשם כשנכנס אב ממעטין בשמחה as when Av arrives we diminish enjoyment כך משנכנס אדר מרבין בשמחה, similarly onwhen Ador arrives, we increase the enjoyment. What is the connection? Fasting is certainly done lashem shomayim. for the sake of heaven, Hashem but enjoying ourselves through eating might not, so we have Purim where our enjoyment should be lashem shimayim. Yom Kippur when we are not eating misses this enjoyment which should be made up through Erev Yom Kippur.

Covering hair is das yehudis which gets divorced without a kesuva not erva but hirhur and girls are no hirhur, or not to make her ugly.
If erva it is covered but hirhur is a problem when it looks like hair, but you can look aside when davening.

The Ramban asks. if one says that Hashem is not within me when these bad things happened, he seems to be doing teshuva through acknowledging the lack of Hashem driving his actions, so why punish him by not caring about him? Maybe, he is saying that Hashem was not the one who causes occurences but the horoscope, the stars, so Hashem says. if that is what you believe, I will look away from you and transfer your determination of your life occurences to them.

The gemora says that at the time of Meshiach every day will become worse than the previous day, ein yom sh’ein kileloso meruba mechavero. Maybe, this is beneficial for us. The Klei Yakar in parashas Vayishlach on ufotatzto, as extremes directions are enumerated, says that Meshiach will only come when we have reached the lowest level, ki shocho leofor nafshenu noflo leoretz bitnenu, our soul bends to dust and our stomach falls to the ground, kumo ezroso lonu, we ask Hashem stand up and help us, ufdeinu lemaan chasdecha, and redeem us because of your favor. When ein lonu lehishoen elo al avinu shebashomayim, we can only rely on Him on our Father in heaven, Hashem, will the redemption arrive. So when we reach a low level, we come closer to the redemption.

The Midrash says אשכחא אדם הראשון לקין Adam Harishan meets Kayin. אמר ליה מה נעשה בדינך Adam Harishan says to Kayin, what happened to your judgement עשיתי תשובה ונתפשרתי Kayin answered, I did teshuva and I compromised אמר ליה so Adam Harishan said to Kayin כך היא כוחה של תשובה is teshuva so great? מיד אמר מזמור שיר ליום השבת so Adam Harishan right away praised shabbos. What is the connection? Adam Harishan was in doubt whether he can keep shabbos as it is sceptor of the King, Hashem which a servant is not privileged to. Teshuva is also a sceptor of the King. When Adam Harishan heard that Kayin’s teshuva was accepted, it proved to him that we are like children to Hashem who can use the sceptor of the father, therefore he can also keep shabbos.

המחדש בכל יום תמיד מעשה בראשית Hashem renews daily the creation like a balloon that needs to be replenished with air. The neshama is cleansed daily, sins recorded and neshama returned to us. If one does teshuva from love, the recorded purposeful sins will be replaced with good deeds and from fear turned into unintentional sins.

AAQ, this is an argument between Rashi and the Rambam according to the understanding of RMF ztz’l. Rash says in Sukkah that the mechitza is for shelo yisarvu, not mixing whereas the Rambam on the mishnayus says shelo yistaklu, not to look or stare. Rashi could be is not arguing but emphazing the main reason for not looking.

גדולה תשובה שדוחה לא תעשה שבתורה teshuva is great as it overpowers a violation in the Torah. When a woman sways to another man, the first man cannot remarry her but Hashem takes us back even when teshuva is done by fear where asei docha lo sasei only applies when performing the nitzvs from love. See the Ramban in Parashas Yisro.

There are four worlds, asiya, yetzira, beruah, atzilus. The human body comes from asiya and the neshama from beriah. The malochim come from beriah. If we go after the body, we are below the malochim but after the neshama above the malachim.
