What is the connection? Adam Harishan was in doubt whether he can keep shabbos as it is sceptor of the King, Hashem which a servant is not privileged to. Teshuva is also a sceptor of the King. When Adam Harishan heard that Kayin’s teshuva was accepted, it proved to him that we are like children to Hashem who can use the sceptor of the father, therefore he can also keep shabbos.
Reb EliezerParticipantהמחדש בכל יום תמיד מעשה בראשית Hashem renews daily the creation like a balloon that needs to be replenished with air. The neshama is cleansed daily, sins recorded and neshama returned to us. If one does teshuva from love, the recorded purposeful sins will be replaced with good deeds and from fear turned into unintentional sins.
Reb EliezerParticipantAAQ, this is an argument between Rashi and the Rambam according to the understanding of RMF ztz’l. Rash says in Sukkah that the mechitza is for shelo yisarvu, not mixing whereas the Rambam on the mishnayus says shelo yistaklu, not to look or stare. Rashi could be is not arguing but emphazing the main reason for not looking.
