I think white is a sign purity like it says אם יהי’ חטאיכם כשנים כשלג ילבינו if your sin will be seen red, I will make them white.

I don’t understand the Taamei Haminhogim so I will speculate. It says in Rus 3:9 ופרשת כנפך על אמתך and you should cover your maiden with a talis.
This is was a sign of marriage since married women covered their hair. In
Frankfurt, they cover the groom and bride together in a talis. There is a connection for this in the Torah where the making of ztitzis is followed by the pasuk of marriage.

We had before President Reagan the SETA program for job training which was eliminated by him. I was educated in computer programming through this means. This was very economical because people gained skills making them more valuable and thereby where able to pay it back in taxes. He only looked at instant gratification. We should bring this kind of program back.

Meno – A rich person with his consumption does not create a multiplying effect. He buys a yacht or saves it. A poor person spends the money where his consumption generates more investment requiring hiring workers and thereby the multiplying effect takes hold.

Economy = Consumption + Investment + Government Spending

Let us remember the important lesson from this holiday. The girls would go out to greet the boys in borrowed white clothing. Even those who posessed their own, borrowed in order not to ashame those who did not have.
Let us keep in mind that we must go out our way not to embaress another person. It says ואהבת לרעך כמוך, love your fellow human being just like yourself. They also have a heilige neshama just like you being just as good as you are.

simcha613 – Our chazal sometimes said towards the non-orthodox הבדלו that we should separate ourselves in order not to be influenced by them. There is not sinas chinom because we show openly our disapproval of their views. Sinas chinom is when we keep our hatred bottled up in our heart and act towards them as friends.

Minimum wage does make economic sense. If people have more money, demand increases and they can pay higher prices. This is a chicken and egg question, will they be willing to invest and pay higher wages to generate demand and charge higher prices?

There are two measurements, eggs or fingers.
Finger measurement turned out to be greater than the egg measurement.

Tzlach in Pesochim 115 says the eggs diminished in size.
His talmid Rabbi Elozor Flekles says his Rebbe had big fingers.

Rabbi Chaim Noeh must accept the talmid’s view.

The number 2658 is not the significance but the fact they both add up to the same gematria which reveals to you how to calculate the molad. What are the chances of that? It is a hint that our calculation is correct.

I will demontrate why it is called lashon hakodesh take

החדש הזה לכם ראש חדשים ראשון הוא לכם לחדשי השנה adds up to 2658 just as

כמה תשעה ועשרים ומחצה יום ותשצג חלקים indicating the time of the molad (from one lunar renewal to the next)
how many 29 1/2 days and 793 chalokim where chelek = 1/1080th of an hour.

That the Lubavitcher Rebbe will be Moshiach is only according to Hillel whose view is that techiyas hamesim will coincide with the comming of the Moshiach, otherwise there will be forty years in between.

There are two ways to judge an individual with mercy or judgment. He could be judged what he is responsible as a human being or what he is responsible towards Hashem. When a person has gayva, he will be judged on a higher level through judgement, what he is responsible to Hashem.

Are you talking of Hilel’s view that means that there will not be 40 years between the comming of Moshiach and techiyas hamesim, see the Abarbanel on Moshiach. It could be someone alive will be Moshiach as the gemora questions it, but there is no view that the Moshiach will return a second time.

This has caused that people don’t daven with a hat and a jacket because they daven like they go on the street, see MB O”CH 91:12.
