I remember that a kosher animal that chews its cud has multiple stomachs so I don’t think this is scientifically possible.

According to the above Ohr Hachaim why do we need to create a new entity let us do a genetic modification to make it kosher?

    Reb Eliezer

The Ohr Hachaim says in Parshas Shemini that there will be a new pig created by the redemption that will chew its cud which will be kosher. Aisov who is compared to the pig being fake showing its cut hoofs will repent and therefore it will become kosher.

Something to remeber him by. It says in Parshas Eikev מראשית השנה עד אחרית שנה from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. Why is there a specific article ה ידוע in the beginning of the year. I heard the explanation in his name that every beginning of the year a person thinks this is the year (for the redemption), but at the end realizes that it is like any other year. This is the meaning of הן גאלתי אתכם אחרית כראשית it will be said that the redemption at the end will be like the beginning.

We can create unity among the different groups according the writing of Rav Eliyohu Dessler in Mchtav Eliyohu saying that every group serves Hashem with their nature, some are cold and some are warm. There are different ways of serving Him. The importance is to serve Him and not how we serve Him.

Could be a ת”ח should have שמינית שבשמינית 1/64 of humility which is the ר”ת of סייעתא דשמיא recognizing that he needs Heavenly help to find the truth in learning. I also heard that Mount Sinai the smallest mountain is 1/64th of the largest mountain Har Karmel.

How does one shteig (climb higher)? There is constantly a confilct between the body and soul. The Ben Ish Chay says the Shabbos is a day of peace because eating for shabbos sake unites them. To make peace and resolve them explains the Chasam Sofer we do something small for the benefit of the soul until the body gets used to it and continue this to improve ourself day by day. This is what is meant in סור מרע ועשה טוב בקש שלום ורדפהו turn away from bad and do good by creating peace (between body and soul) through fighting the peace.

It says שוב יום אחד לפני מותך repent a day before your death. As the person does not know when this day comes, he will repent every day. Every day he will climb to higher level so the yetzer hara becomes stronger, because כל הגדול מחבירו יצרו גדול ממנו, whoever is greater than his friend, his yetzer hara becomes also greater.

Help from Above is also required to understand and find the truth in our learning. The Chasam Sofer explains that the Torah has hidden treasures and through Hashem’s help they get revealed. The Hafloh says that a question comes from Heavenly help. I explained that the Jews encountered bitter water and through a bitter tree it became sweet. Comparing this to the learning of Torah, sometimes we don’t understand at all our learning making it completely bitter. We are helped to find the truth through a question, but a question itself without an answer is also bitter. When an answer is found, it becomes sweet.

Heavenly help or help from the Heavens. It says יצרו של אדם מתגבר עליו בכל יום the yetzer hara of the person strengthens itself every day ואלמלא הקב”ה עוזר לו לא יוכל לו if Hashem would not help the person, he could not fight him.

simcha613 – If we would not commemorate the holocaust at all, you would be right, but on Tisha Beav we sit on the floor and say kinus for it recognizing what Rashi says on הנגלות לנו ולבנינו עד עולם if we don’t do something about what is open, we all become responsible and the majority gets punished.

The Rambam Hilchos Taanis 1:3 says that we have a responsibility to recognize why we are fasting and not take it as an occurrence because if do, Hashem will also make things occur. Commemorating the holocaust on Tisha Beav makes us thing to realize why it happened and what we can do to improve ourselves.

I don’t understand the Taamei Haminhogim so I will speculate. It says in Rus 3:9 ופרשת כנפך על אמתך and you should cover your maiden with a talis.
This is was a sign of marriage since married women covered their hair. In
Frankfurt, they cover the groom and bride together in a talis. There is a connection for this in the Torah where the making of ztitzis is followed by the pasuk of marriage.

We had before President Reagan the SETA program for job training which was eliminated by him. I was educated in computer programming through this means. This was very economical because people gained skills making them more valuable and thereby where able to pay it back in taxes. He only looked at instant gratification. We should bring this kind of program back.

Meno – A rich person with his consumption does not create a multiplying effect. He buys a yacht or saves it. A poor person spends the money where his consumption generates more investment requiring hiring workers and thereby the multiplying effect takes hold.

Economy = Consumption + Investment + Government Spending

Let us remember the important lesson from this holiday. The girls would go out to greet the boys in borrowed white clothing. Even those who posessed their own, borrowed in order not to ashame those who did not have.
Let us keep in mind that we must go out our way not to embaress another person. It says ואהבת לרעך כמוך, love your fellow human being just like yourself. They also have a heilige neshama just like you being just as good as you are.

simcha613 – Our chazal sometimes said towards the non-orthodox הבדלו that we should separate ourselves in order not to be influenced by them. There is not sinas chinom because we show openly our disapproval of their views. Sinas chinom is when we keep our hatred bottled up in our heart and act towards them as friends.

There are two measurements, eggs or fingers.
Finger measurement turned out to be greater than the egg measurement.

His talmid Rabbi Elozor Flekles says his Rebbe had big fingers.

Rabbi Chaim Noeh must accept the talmid’s view.
