Joseph, the reason the women are limited in their out going so that the men should not get attracted. If the women go outside in a tzuniesdig outfit, according the MB 75:2 mentioned above , the men will get used to them, as the men have their own reasons for being outside, and the women will not create an attraction. Reb Moshe says that even in a shul the mechitza is only for separation and not for protection of looking at the women. So currently when the women have reasons to go out, we allow them to do so because the men become used to it.

I repeat again it is currently a bigger problem if they go out seldomly then frequently as I quoted from the MB 75 that what men are used to doesn’t affect them. At the time of the Rambam they dressed in burka like outfit so it did not make a difference and it was better going out seldomly.

It says in SA O”CH 75 דרכה לכסותה explains the MB s’k 2 כיון שרגיל בהן אינו בא לידי הרהור when he is used to see something will not attract him. Similarly, he is used in seeing women, they are not provocative and will not bring attraction to him.

Joseph, you are being ridiculous לכ”ת. The Mordechai in the name of the
Ravye which is logical is not a boich svara. Women who go out dressed tzinuisdig do not affect man. The man are busy with their work and don’t stare and look at women who are not in any way provocative, For this reason a mechitza in a shul can be see through according to Reb Moshe. As mentioned before, we are more stringent when it comes to a Shul because the yetzer hora is stronger when there is holiness, but outside we follow the logic..

Joseph, the Aruch Hashulchan’s does not necessarily follow from saying Shema when hair is not covered to women who are dresssed tznuesdig. We can pasken not like him in his situation and still allow women to go on the street using the Ravye’s sevora above that we don’t get affected when we see them around because we become used to them.

I will repeat again. The Aruch Hashulchan 75:7 brings the Mordechai in the name of the Ravyeh that we rely on. Women go out to the street , for the reasons mentioned above, seeing them makes us get used to them and we don’t get affected like we find dancing with them was considered עץ בעלמא. For this reason no mechitza is necessary at a family dinner.

What is the big deal that Avraham left his fathers house when he was promised all his needs? The answer is in the pasuk that Avraham went because he was commanded by Hashem and not for any self interest.

When women go out, they have a valid reason to do so. They are not prisoners as the above Rambam states.

Joseph, be realistic. Man are working so women must shop, take children to school when there is no transportation in a car pool, also families cannot support themselves without women working so we have to allow things for darchei shalom and sholam bayis. As mentioned before, we find the view that we become used to seeing women, so they don’t affect us. The Rambam and SA were in a different environment were women did not work so they were able to stay home.. How the children got to school , and shopping was done, I don’t know. The Aruch Hashulchan 75 saw this allowing to daven with their open hair, even though you can close you eyes or look away or they can cover their hair. Do you go out to a married friend for a dinner eating on one table without mechitzas?

Joseph I don’t know if you are married. We sometimes were invited to an another family get together without mechitzas. We currently go out so we are used to see women. When you go to a wedding or a bar mitzva because there is a mitzva involved the yetzer hora is stronger to disrupt it and we need more protection.

The above about teshuva from love is yefashfesh bemasov. If yemashmesh bemasov, when he has the proper machshovo when doing positive commandments מחשבה טובה הקב’ה מצרפה למעשה, the machshvos are also figured as mitzvos and he doubles the positive mitzvos to 496 which is more than 365 and becomes better to be born than not.

Rand0m3x – You know the Mehrsho at the end of Makus says on this that they counted the number of commandments and found that there are 365 negative commandments which gets done automatically by just not violating it, but 248 positive commandments which must be done physically. Therefore you accomplish more by not being born and doing anything than being born. If he does teshuva from love, he can convert his negative violations to positive commandments and thereby having more positive commandment making being born more worthy.

Whether Noach was good or bad is the great question. The question is why not judge hijm for the good if you can? There are many medroshim that question his behavior compared to Avraham, where Avraham mixed with people whereas he avoided them like his grandfather Chanoch. The Rashi where Noach only entered the ark because of the water. Depending of where the comma is placed a different meaning comes to life. Could be that because he had trust in people that they will do teshuva, he did not enter the ark. Whether hre had a window or a gem that lit up the ark is dependent on whether he was good or bad explains the Chasam Sofer as a non- pious person like Lot could not see the destruction of the rashaim.

It says in Tomer Devorah that Keser is humility. If someone has a swollen head, his crown will not fit. It is brought down in sefer Peninim Yekorim, it says, wherever you find a greatness (or a multiple) of Hashem, you will find there His humility. This can be shown numerically. The small count of Hashem 26 is 8, When you multiply by 2, you get 52 now 5 and 2 = 7, take it three times, you get 78 where 7 and 8 is 15 and 1 and 5 is 6. Continuing like this, you get down to 1 and then to 9 going down to 1. By Hashem, His humility is His greatness. Since 8 is 1 away from 9, this also works with 8 itself.

כדי להסבר את האוזן – The science of string theory says that everything consists of strings of energy. Hashem is the source of all energy. Things were created from yesh mayin, from energy. According to the Einstein’s Law of Relativity, e=mc(square) when something is greater than the speed of light, it has infinite energy. Hashem being everywhere, is faster than the speed of light.

Not Rashi by Kayin but the pasuk itself tells how good and bad behavior are dealt with, and your Rashi above, even though not mentioned, has to the refer to the opening in the hey otherwise a ches would also suffice. The GRA explains that on Pesach chametz is assur bemashehu because the difference between chametz, the yetzer horah, and matzoh, the yetzer tov is only that mashehu, the opening on the hey. If we don’t watch matzoh carefully, it becomes chametz. That is what we say Ha Lachmo Anya, the hey makes it a lachma anya.
