    I have no idea what you talking about. By the commutative law 3 + 2 – 18 = 5 – 18 = -13
    To get -17 it must be (3 – (18 + 2)) = 3 – 18 – 2 = 3 – 20 = -17

Just as parentheses precede exponents shouldn’t multiplication precede division? So the answer should be 1.

The woman (Chava) above should have been created before Adam as she was created to serve him. She makes a bracha ืฉืขืฉื ื™ ื›ืจืฆื•ื ื• Hashem created her according to His will. Her existence is His will.

Why was the human being created after the animals? First the inanimate, water and the sun was created. Then the grass, plantations and animals. Finally the human being. Everything that is required by a higher being was created before it like a prepared table. According to this the woman should have been created before the man. Maybe, in order he should appreciate her and not take her for granted, she was separated after him.

It seems there is an argument between the Torah and science who determines gender. The Torah says the women whereas science says the man. A woman has two X chromosomes whereas the man has an
X and Y chromosomes. He can either contribute an X or Y. Maybe the woman creates an environment which determines what kind of chromosomes he gives. The Harav Ksav Sofer explains the pasuk that as they were afflicted the more males were born. The woman had more desire in the relationship which had more males being born.

Menachem, your prove from Yoma 5 is according to the Yerushalmi quoted by Horav Tosfas Yom Tov in Maaser Sheni (5, 2) and discussed in great detail in Aim Habanim Semaicha, Perek 3, that the building of the Beis Hamikdash will be before the coming of Meshiach on which the one of fire will descend.

Reb (Yiddish: ืจื‘, /หˆrษ›b/) is a Yiddish or Hebrew honorific traditionally used for Orthodox Jewish men. It is not a rabbinic title.[1] In writing it is abbreviated as ืจืณ. On a gravestone, ื‘’ืจ is an abbreviation for ben/bat reb meaning “son/daughter of the worthy…”[1] Reb may also be a short form of Rebbe. It is generally only used for married men, sometimes an equivalent of “Mr.”

    A never-married man[2] is referred to as Habachur.[3][4]

The Nodah Beyehudah was against saying the Shaim Yichud as it appears from the Ritva in Pesachim that the bracha is recited before the performance of the mitzva to indicate the kavona for it. Rebbi Shlomo Kluger ztz’l explains that when money was collected for the king, an announcement was made by saying, this money belongs to king in order it should not be stolen. Mitzvas can be taken away by the chitzonim, so we make an announcement that it belongs to the King, Hashem.

Meshiach is like the sun which heals. Two made a bet the sun and the wind who can remove the jacket of one. The wind, the more it blew, the more it kept on the jacket. Whereas the sun got the individual to take off the jacket. When Shaul mixed himself with the neviim, he removed his jacket.

What about a streimel and long reckel? They wore it not to mix with the goyim. Someone wanted to prove from the Torah to wear a long reckel. It was told to the Jews to borrow clothing and place it on their children. Why not on themselves? It was too short. However, maybe it says, I have not seen a forsaken tzadik whose children look for bread. When the children and father need bread, the children come first. So the clothing is used for the children first.

It is an argument between the Aim Habanim Semacha Hy’d and the Satmar Rebbe ztz’l. The former says to go to EY and start building the Beis Hamikdash but Munkatcher Rav with the latter says that the redemption will be spontaneous and no preparation is required.

The Chasam Sofer did not say Shalom Aleichem, Machnisei Rachamim and most probably Malachei Rachamim as he held that we don’t pray to malachim. Kalev visited the dead. We should daven to Hashem that he should have the dead or malachim intervene in our behalf. When we say Hamalch Hagoel, we should start from Hashem.

The Rav Kaftor Voferach brings from Rebbe Chaim from Paris (a Baalei Tosfas) that he wanted to currently sacrifice a Korban Pesach. There is a big discussion between the Chasam Sofer and Rebbe Akiva Eigar how he could overcome all the conditions to be able to bring it. The Chasan Sofer in Avodas Hayom questions why not Tamid? He answers that shekalim, creating unity is necessary which is currently not available. Maybe this is the reason that Meseches Shekalim is included in the Daf Yomi as it reflects the redemption and rebuilding of the Beis Hamikdash.
