As an alumni from Yishrei Lev, believe me when I say you should definitely consider Yishrei. They have incredible Rebbeim, many have been mechanchim for many years and you can gain a tremendous amount from all of them. As mentioned above, yishreis located in Telzstone, a great environment conducive to learning. Its not in Yerushalyim yet close enough that if you wanted to make the trip, its not a big shlep.

The learning environment in yishrei is serious. You have 3 sedarim a day (though you still have the perfect amount of downtime and amazing trips to boot) as well as having rebbeim always around who are more than happy to help you.

Its a small enough yeshiva that getting personal attention and not getting lost won’t be a problem. (When I was there i think we had about 20 guys and a ridiculously high amount of rebbeim in proportion…it has grown since but i hear it still has that small/warm yeshiva atmosphere.) Many of the rebbeim live nearby and will have you over for shabbos and even during the week. They really care about their talmidim.

One thing I always noticed was that the rebbeim were really not on top of you. The guys they catered to are guys who want to be there and want to be learning. They had no need to be on top of everyone.

    Hatzlacha Raba!
