Actually ask any sane Rav he’ll tell you the same thing. By the way it is a big blow to Mishpacha. Unlike in America most chareidim do listen to their gedolim.

I dont know if he read Mishpacha or not before he banned it, but I am fairly certain he did NOT read the Kamenetzky book

And didn’t Rav Aharon Feldman and others who read english quite well speak at length to Rav Elyashiv about Slifkin and he was fully aware of what was written.See Rav Feldman’s book for what Rav Elyashiv told him.

Also Regarding Kamenetsky’s book. It is laughable to say that stories said over in one language cannot be repeated in a second one. Also 14 American Roshei Yeshivos including Rav Dovid Feinstein also said one should’t read the book. I wonder if they couldn’t read english either.

And again there was no ban. He just said its assur. It was assur before he said it and assur afterwards too.
