How is this different than the Bais Yaakovs that “teitch” in Hebrew (vayomer = hu omar) ?
Sam2: Thank you. I never came across “chutz”, all the machzorim I ever used had “afilu”.
Another question is that it mentions “nezirus Shimshon” and the halacha is that nezirus Shimshon ain loi hatarah.

In a teshuva I received from Rav Elyashiv zt”l he writes that if one forgot to light on Yom Tov there is no knas. He explained that since on Yom Tov you can light all night, forgetting to light is a milsa dlo shchicha vlo gozru boh Rabbonon.
The minhag to light for each child may not have anything to do with a knas for missing. It may be based on the Gemora in Bameh Madlikin “Horogil bner havyeh lei bonim talmidei chachomim”.
The GR”A was famously called Hagaon Hachosid MeVilna. The title Chosid was hijacked by the chasidim, it didn’t always mean shtriemel, bekeshe etc.. Think Rav Yehuda Hachosid.

I am told it is a reliable hashgacha. If you eat Kellog’s, you have relied on them yourself.
