Health you’re do smart when you quote what people say and dissect it. Where’d you learn that from? I was hat browsing the coffee room and when I saw your attack on morahrach I became disgusted. This is what goes on between frum yidden?? Why do you even post here, it’s a frum blog? Seriously please think about what youre going to say before you type it on the keyboard. It’s very immature, grow up!

It’s seems like a Baal tshuvah thing to wear a hat at meals. One should be comfortable while eating, not everything must be intense. Also it makes others at the meal feel uncomfortable.

I have downstairs neighbors who smoke in front of my building and I have to wait until she’s done smoking to bring my son inside. It’s disgusting! We hav to move because of it. The city should have a huge bubble every couple of blocks and that’s where smokers will smoke! They’ll have to breathe in their own pollution which they give to the world

I’m a huge conservative and I hate when government gets involved in our daily lives but I definitely think Americans should be cutting back on fattening foods. The bike incentives bloomberg has are great but it wouldn’t be so crazy is Americans can get their XL supersize sugary drinks!

It’s disgusting when kids take food and seats before adults! They need to learn to respect adults and this in no way teaches them that. Also what bothers me is when little kids run around and shul and no one says anything! It’s these liberal parents who let their children run wild, bc according to them how could you tell you child what to do??

Health I was the one who answered for you and you said yea all those reasons.

You’re right the Israeli left are Arab loving but they don’t even associate themselves with Judaism, and don’t look like Jews.

So health- give me a reason then instead of blabbing something’s assur. I think it’s assur for me to go bc I might curse and get in a fight w the Arab loving “Jews” who call themselves neturei karta.

Cherrybim or health- please answer my question! Why is assur to go?? Is it bc of supporting the state of Israel or bc of tzniyus reasons or bc of bitul Torah??? Which reason is it?

Oh cherrybim, classic saying that something’s assur when you have no idea what you’re talking about. Why is it assur for men to go and not women? Is it bc of tznius reasons? Then men shouldn’t be allowed to work in the city either!

Ask your rabbi who told you to ban the Internet. Just curious do you make any decisions for yourself or only what people tell you what to do?

Ohh goq.. You’re so witty. You know what I am trying to say. If I’m old enough to make important decisions, I don’t need other people telling me what to do. It’s definitely a maturity factor here, I would like to think im mature enough to make my own decisions. I decided to get married, I decided to have children, those are pretty mature decisions

I got married when I was 23. I finished colleges the may before and was working for a couple of months already. My wife was also working. Plus we got wedding money; trust me noone was supporting us and we didn’t want anyone to support us. If were mature enough to get married then we should be able to take on the responsibilities that come along with it. I have many friends who are still supported by their parents whether they’re in kollel or in school. Its a little immature but if they have no shame asking their parents for support then so be it.

Yserbius123-it has nothing to do with a “torahdik” view. The constitution states marriage is between man and women period! Why should gays get the same benefits as a regular married person, gays arent considered

married. The government does force some rules from the Torah; murder, theft… Why should they not enforce the gay marriage issue? We’re lucky gays can’t married, hopefully the government listens to what the constitution says!

Truth sharer- what does it mean when the constitution BANS same sex marriage? Does it mean that gay marriage is illegal?

in reply to: Obamas position on gay marriage #875540

Hmm let’s see why this is a big deal… Maybe because gay marriage is unconstitutional and being the president of the United States, legally he can’t go and say something against the constitution. Now I really don’t care that he’s pro it, but he is not allowed to share his personal views on something against the constitution.

My rosh hayeshiva was an awesome basketball player when he was a bochur and even at the age of 55 he would come shoot around with us and swish every 3. Sports are the best outlet for bochurim and are extremely encouraged in yeshivas.

Hey I’m not trying to start a big arguement. I respect those that learn; I was going to go that route also however my parents put their foot down and said they wouldn’t support me anymore. I personally didn’t feel right taking money from the gpvernement for choosing not to work so I went to college instead; landed a good job and still learn at nights. I just want to know what justifies finding a loophole in something and exploiting it.

The fact that any law abiding American citizen votes for this person is beyond me! Hes horrible, hes the worst president since Carter and that’s not saying much! Obama is a racist and he gets away with his stupid policies Bc then you’re a racist if you argue against it! I don’t think Americans will make the same mistake twice, but if he gets elected again, I’m moving to germany

If someone murders a person, should I go to my rav first or the police? What about stealing? I just don’t see how anyone can cover up child molestation! The reason rabbonim don’t say anything is because the crazies in the community threaten to kill them. You must go to the police or you could prob get in trouble for aiding and abbeting.

    kfb

Of course you should go to the police! What’s wrong with you?? There are so many child molesters out there who are walking the streets Bc people are scared to go to the police! Just imagine if it were your kid, I’m sure you’d go! Fyi; my uncle is a psychiatrist in Brooklyn and he deals with a lot of these cases, so don’t tell me it doesn’t happen that often.

Morahrach, u go girl! You’re 100% right. The liberals can say whatever they want, yet a conservative gets chastised if he says something politically incorrect. Obama is ruining our country! First gay marriage, now churches and religous organizations must cover birth control, what next? Lets use our tax money to support illegals who enter this country, oh wait we already do that! The fact that we let liberals go too far is a big problem, we must.hold them shorter on the leash! Rush limbaugh was right in calling that lawyer a nasty names, he stood up for what’s right in this country!
