December 3, 2012 2:11 am at 2:11 am in reply to: Selling a Sefer to a Non-Orthodox "Synagogue" #910363k9horaMemberRabbi Moshe Feinstein zt”l allows for a new one to be sold but not one that was already used in an orthodox shul.
BTW: let us be honest. if a Holy Torah is being leined from and the people talk, but are orthodox and in a conservative place during leining they are quiet, who is according the Torah less honour?
October 27, 2011 7:15 pm at 7:15 pm in reply to: My $21000 sacrifice to get my daughter out of her misery #822097k9horaMemberthere is a wonderful sem in toronto that is now in the beginning of its 3rd year. gevaldigge teachers, very dedicated. they have a great syllabus and include a 3 week trip to EY with teachers there, so the girls get a taste of EY and education there. there is a Shabaton, educational trips to cleveland ny and chicago. the menahel is an experienced mchanech. if you want to look into it for next year call 416-787-0800 and ask for hoRav Blumental.
k9horaMembersee Rashi on this week’s parsha 7:3, where he cites two psukim from Tzefanioh 3:6,7 and you will have an answer to your heartfelt query.
It does not deal with every aspect of your question.
