The most valuable feature (for me) on the home page is gone – the “comments” count for each story.
IMAP is a way to access email. Basically it synchronizes your mail client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Blackberry, etc), with your mail server (Gmail, in this case).
There is no cost for Gmail users to enable and use IMAP.
My Gmail through IMAP is working fine. As is our entire company’s email system, which is running on Google Apps (gmail).
If you never enabled IMAP in your Gmail preferences, then you can’t turn it on now.

Why would he drop his name? Obviously the potential damage didn’t keep him from getting elected (most likely), so why do it once he’s in office?
