This measles hysteria has further hurt many already suffering parents whose children were damaged by vaccines and now are frightened to give vaccines to their other children and therefore have not been in school (in one case a Lakewood school which instigated the whole thing) now over three weeks.
I am not jealous of these people who hurt, hurting people and think “les din vles dayan”.
I strongly believe that there is a real actual question in this case, does one put their child at risk by administering a MMR vaccine when it has been proven and have many eyewitness testimonies that it has caused autism and irreversible brain damage to an otherwise healthy child. Or does one give the vaccine to prevent the measles, mumps rubella that is a virus but has yet to have caused the fear mongering that has been stated. I firmly believe this is a question that ONLY true daas torah should answer. Not from videos of 3 years ago, supposed psakim from Rabbanim or biased people in the medical field that many times have a big share in pharmaceutical stock. As I have said previously I think everyone should discuss it with their daas torah that they follow and heed their rulings. I personally have suffered from the MMR and from the current hysteria and hype and I have heard firsthand accounts from other suffering parents. To dismissively and coldheartedly discount it is definitely not a midda of any frum yid and is not coming from people that have torah or yiras shamayim in them.
