we had a speaker speak to us who lost her 8 yr old son and she goes around to ppl who lost relatives and children and tells them that hashem only gives nisyonos to those who can handle them and when you give in to one nisayon the yetzer hara will just keep on giving you more so wen u have a nisayon as great as dealing with a child who was niftar accept it and it can only make you grow stronger. one thing she also said was that 10 years after she lost her child she was cleaning a desk she has never cleaned, on the yurtzeit of her son, and she found a peice of paper saying “im davening for u mommy, love (name of child)” she said that this gave her the biggest chizuk she needed.

not 1: it really depends which sem in gateshead the girl goes to. gateshead old is more into learning miforshim since its a teacher training college. and on the other hand gateshead new is more haskafa and preparing a girl for marriage rather then teach her all miforshim. (and gateshead new has internet;))

with some types of girls they say the same when they try the whole “its your body respect it…” they need to hear what it does to guys so they can understand the consequences of their actions.

it dependson what scholl your kids go to. if they go to a chassidish school then yea, most of the girls there are tznius. im not saying that other schools arnt tznius but in the chassidush schools its very easy for them to be dressed properly

they do discuss it in seminary. i know where i am they have been discussing tznius in depth through rabbi falks books and other aspects of tznius.

we dont need rebetzins as role models cuz they always dress b’tznius and its not such a hard nisayon for them. but we need to see normal girls that havent always been b’tznius and then we look up to them. but i think that teachers have to realize that its very hard for us to lengthen our skirts, loosen our tops, fix our necklines etc. but to be patient with us and allow us to change slowly.

but in high school they cant explain what it does to guys (it really depends what high school) but they do in seminary.
who says they dont tell 9th and 10th grades students? they might not explain to them what it does to men when they see improperly dressed girls but they definetly talk about tznius. many schools have a class dedicated to tznius.
even though it may seem easy to guys like why cant they just lenghten their skirts its actually really hard.
a rabbi (not sure which one) once said tht as long as when ur listening to the song you dont think of the non jewish song the music comes from its fine but if for example theres a jewish song that playes in the tune of yankee doodle and when you hear the song it makes you think of yankee doodle its asur to listen to it
theres a story with the chofetz chaim:

not everything can be blamed so much on anti semitism its so easy for us to blame it on anti semitism im not saying it wasnt but she was a tough judge and maybe a little bit of anti semitism.

we only finish seminary in two weeks so the country isnt even an option for me ;(

im glad when i took my 9th and 10th regents they where really easy i guess i got away with it;)
