@zahavasdad: I’m not sure what your kashrut credentials are but you can not make a blanket statement that the OU is the “gold standard.” While the OU is considered reliable on products, their hashgacha on MEAT is most certainly not widely accepted by many, and that’s why in most cases, you’ll see that when a meat product has an OU, in most cases it will have an additional hashgacha. I have spoken with a very famous, ehrliche Rov in kashrut and if people would know what goes on, they’d hesitate before so easily accepting certain hashgochos.
