No!!! Randomex has much more brains than that!
ivoryParticipantIf it is as assurnet is describing how can it be appropriate for any frum boy? Or girl for that matter.
ivoryParticipantWo! Such an honor! I made it into PAA’s story!
ivoryParticipantWe need more info here…… What type of rebbe is he? Where is he going? What kind of tie does he wear?
ivoryParticipantTo daven by bnei yoel?
ivoryParticipantLove the R’ Trollish subtitle! The inadvertent troll!
October 30, 2014 12:04 am at 12:04 am in reply to: Im Going to Uman.I will pray for you there. #1038485ivoryParticipantI dont think its up to you to judge whether or not you’re annoying. Secondly, is it accepted practice in satmar to have teffilos on Rosh hashana at the kever of Satmar rebbe? I don’t think so. And the people who are going to uman are going to uman and not looking for other kever to go to .
ivoryParticipantSomeone is very confused here
ivoryParticipantNot sure you know what off the derech means…If he moved to Kiryas Yoel does he automatically daven?
ivoryParticipantRandomex, I think he was being sincere. He discovered the coffee room and feels a need to put his name by every thread….
Seems to be a popular way to begin a career here
ivoryParticipantNot sure that those boys are off the derech….
ivoryParticipantMazel tov oomis. May you have many happy healthy years. And may your husband have a complete refuah!
ivoryParticipantAre you in his yeshiva?
October 29, 2014 7:37 pm at 7:37 pm in reply to: Im Going to Uman.I will pray for you there. #1038480ivoryParticipantWhere was I wrong? And vayoel moishe doesn’t appear to be a troll just an annoying satmar guy
ivoryParticipantPosters commenting on things they know nothing about just for the sake of posting!
ivoryParticipantGive me your address ill send you a presentt
ivoryParticipantMany people have no choice and have to stay “in the box” to be part of the society they live in or schools they go to etc. There are many senseless unspoken rules that you have to abide by in certain areas that have nothing with halacha. And don’t say so hon live somewhere else cause its not so easy once you’re rooted somewhere.

October 29, 2014 12:00 pm at 12:00 pm in reply to: When will Boro Park have a Shabbos Project and host thousands of BTs? #1038417ivoryParticipantFirst if all, why do I have to keep on logging in?
Secondly I am not against a big shabbos project at all! Just suggesting that it can be done all the time one in one which people do anyway. Including chasidim.
ivoryParticipantEven if fir arguments sake you don’t need a mechitza, you still cant have mixed seating!
October 28, 2014 11:35 pm at 11:35 pm in reply to: When will Boro Park have a Shabbos Project and host thousands of BTs? #1038410ivoryParticipantI don’t see what’s so funny! There are many chasidim who are quietly doing kiruv one on one without official projects and shabbatons. I’m not saying there shouldn’t be shabbos projects. Just pointing out that there is kiruv behind the scenes all the time

October 28, 2014 3:36 pm at 3:36 pm in reply to: When will Boro Park have a Shabbos Project and host thousands of BTs? #1038404ivoryParticipantI don’t think English speakers is a problem in many shuls in boro park.

October 28, 2014 1:33 pm at 1:33 pm in reply to: When will Boro Park have a Shabbos Project and host thousands of BTs? #1038401ivoryParticipantFor one shabbos we can squeeze in more people. Like for instance when some big rabbis come from out of town hundreds or maybe thousands of chasidim manage to find places to stay.
October 28, 2014 1:31 pm at 1:31 pm in reply to: Im Going to Uman.I will pray for you there. #1038462ivoryParticipantMuch more mundane than that…. Ill tell you the major secret. When I logged in for the first time I looked up from my keyboard to think of a username and there was a bottle of ivory dish soap in the counter.
October 28, 2014 11:56 am at 11:56 am in reply to: When will Boro Park have a Shabbos Project and host thousands of BTs? #1038398ivoryParticipantI don’t think it’s not realistic to expect thousands to come or at least hundreds. If every family or even most families in bp invited one person you have thousands.
ivoryParticipantMaybe he/she’s modding from Israel?
October 28, 2014 11:14 am at 11:14 am in reply to: Im Going to Uman.I will pray for you there. #1038460ivoryParticipantMany many sincere serious people do have a makom kavua in Uman on Rosh hashana. And I hope you were bring facetious but praying for someone is not a vending machine. You don’t always see instant results.
ivoryParticipantI thought you did it purposefully
ivoryParticipantIn the grand scheme of expenditures benchers are a very small expense
ivoryParticipantYes rebyid, French fires are very dangerous! So are any fires!
ivoryParticipantYes that’s true. Can you imagine what a shul looks like when everyone is schmoozing to someone who was never in shul? You call this prayer?
October 27, 2014 11:40 am at 11:40 am in reply to: Does anyone know the halakhah concerning coffins? #1037647ivoryParticipantCheck with the chevra kadisha
ivoryParticipantWhy did my response jump to be before the post I was responding to?
ivoryParticipantI have unfortunately know people who have stopped being frum for no obvious reason. I have told people that if i take credit fir my “good” kids I ski have to take credit or blame for my ” …..” kids
October 26, 2014 7:12 pm at 7:12 pm in reply to: When will Boro Park have a Shabbos Project and host thousands of BTs? #1038379ivoryParticipantI’m not going into nitpicking arguments. I’m pretty sure there are people who would come if it sounds interesting enough to them
October 26, 2014 7:04 pm at 7:04 pm in reply to: Dr. Randomex's first official Coffee Room studio (recording in progress) #1038624ivoryParticipantYes! Why can’t you post the answer?
