I believe this is a mistake on their part, because they are oversaturating the market. This mistake can be turned to your advantage by scooping up a really good buy.
A few caveats before you go ahead and buy:
1) Read the description of the item carefully. Some are selling without power supplies and cords (you can usually buy these elsewhere for under $10).
These netbooks can usually be bought for about half or less of what a new one would cost.
Directions:
1) go to Cowboom.com
2) move your mouse over the “computers” link
3) click on “Laptops / Notebooks”
4) click on “Auction Items”

“How do you get words from an ascii generator and keep all the double spaces too?“
Place a backtick before and a backtick after the “art”.
Make sure to replace all backticks within the art with apostrophes.
(A more detailed discussion of this can be found on early pages of this thread)
“explain… what went wrong with hers?!“
1) No backticks before and after the art.
2) An imbedded backtick within the art, which I replaced with an apostrophe.
“You must be a very special person!!“

Are you asking about a shtar mechira because that would specify when the actual kinyan takes place?
1) Per halacha.
2) Per secular law.
3) As a multi-step process, where even a portion of it occurring on Shabbos could be a problem.
4) Depending on whether both parties are Jewish or not.

That is very much a part of my question(s), and also (if this is a problem) whether a shogeg is allowed to use the purchased item.

Cowboom sells used computers and other electronics. I had noticed that the prices seemed very cheap, and their thirty-day return policy would seem to cover any customers who had been sold defective merchandise.
I now retract my endorsement of the site.
While the prices do seem to be good, there have been many customer complaints at review sites concerning defective merchandise.

It’s the exact same deal as two weeks ago (I didn’t notice that until I scrolled up).
It’s not comparable to the deals I posted a day or two ago.
Today’s post:

-selling for a specific price
-doesn’t require downloading and installing an O/S, drivers and utilities
Prior post:
-used items
-selling at auction
-requires some technical knowledge (not much, but some) to set up

I can only tryMemberI can only tryMemberBest Buy runs an auction site where they sell used computers.
These PCs have their hard disks wiped clean, and they are sometimes missing their power cords.
The prices laptops are going for seems to be very low today.
You will need to be somewhat tech-savvy (or have a friend who is) in order to restore the operating system and drivers for these PCs. YOU SHOULD NOT NEED TO PURCHASE THE O/S ON MOST OF THESE PCs SINCE THE LICENSE KEY IS INCLUDED. A legal download of the o/s should be doable.
One big advantage these auctions have over other auctions is that Best Buy accepts returns, no questions asked, for thirty days. (Returns need to be shipped back – they can’t be returned to Best Buy stores.)
the URL is:
I can only tryMemberThere are some situations in which an elected official will need to be removed from office before the expiration of their term.
-In the event of proven or likely criminal activity by the office-holder, an impeachment process exists, and has in fact been used several times to remove officials at all levels from office.
-There also needs to be some way of determining diminished mental capacity and removing someone who is no longer capable of serving.
I have less of a disagreement with states that require allegations of impropriety before allowing a recall election (since this is similar to impeachment), but I nevertheless do disagree even with those states.

While real problems (obviously) do exist, the last thing people should do is cause themselves unhappiness by being self-critical and magnifying every flaw that they imagine exists.

Clear thinking he wants to banish
Your good moods he will make vanish
Too smart, too dumb, too this, too that
Your friends just like you for your money
Your folks all hate you, as does G-d*
The thief who puts this in our head
Takes no breaks, never goes to bed

My experience and knowledge are for U.S. fixtures and voltages, but I think we can reasonably assume that the principles work the same elsewhere.
The problem can be with a bulb, the ballast (a transformer used by fluorescent fixtures), or (much less likely) a loose connection.
Since bulbs are much easier and cheaper to replace than ballasts are, the first thing to do is change the bulb(s) and replace them with bulb(s) that you know are working.

Sushi Meshuga on East 17th St. between Kings Highway and Ave. P in Brooklyn (sushi). Very nice guy behind the counter (owner?), good product, and reasonably priced.
Ocean Fresh on Avenue M between East 17th and East 18th Streets in Brooklyn (fish/sushi). Good sushi at very good prices. Their daily special(s) are posted outside the store.
Off The Grill at 600 Central Avenue in Cedarhurst (meat). Excellent food and service at reasonable prices. Good place to go for anniversary, etc. Dinner for two with appetizers and desserts usually comes to about $100, a bit more including tip.
IMO, sushi is an acquired taste.
