i happen to think there’s nothing wrong with this look- tznuis wise,but sometimes it just looks really funny. i started seeing people wear tank tops with long sleeves under, it looks so weird- it’s not meant to be worn like that. people have to face the fact that you can’t wear these things because we’re jewish, and don’t try to make it tznius because the person just ends up looking really funny.

hey guys,i’m back! i got scared for a second when i first got on YWN, i thought the CR was closed down or something-but then i saw it on top-few!!!!!
i think it’s crazy that parents turn down girls/boys because they hear that the girl/boy is not pretty or handsome. it’s crazy because the parent is not getting marryed it’s the kid, and everyone has a different definition of pretty/handsome. just let the kid go out and see if he/she is attracted to that person! i think many good shidduchim are being prevented because of this.
my problem is that i have 0 self control,yea it’s a big problem.
my 2nd problem is that i don’t like any dietetic foods. all i like is bread,lasagna,macaroni,ya know the fattening good stuff. i couldn’t eat vegetables if you paid me! i tried unsuccesfully to go on a diet this week(even tho everyone thought i was crazy)but it didn’t quite work out that well.HELP!!!

how about tips on kibud av v’eim? sometimes i find it so hard to bite back nasty comments that i know shouln’t be said and i know cause my parents so much pain! any tips?

i know someone who was in a store in the mall shopping for a coat. she wanted a certain coat but they didn’t have her size. she asked the saleslady if they have it, she said no but pointed to a bright green coat and said-isn’t this nice….errrr sorry, and she got all embarrased, and said oh sorry i didn’t realize you guys are only allowed to wear black and no colors.
what i’m trying to say is that the goyim think wer’e crazy in a lot of ways not just with men in black and white. they see chassidim in the mall on chol hamoed with their streimels and white tights with 10 kids around them all matching clothes0-to them they look like aliens from mars! we are different then the goyim- but you know what? that’s what hashem wants from us that we SHOULD be different and we SHOULDN’T assimilate and be like them. we should feel good about our way of life and feel proud that we have purpose to our life. wer’e not llike the emptyheaded goyim who just eat out and laugh the whole day. we shouldn’t be embarrased or feel uncomfortable at all we should be PROUD.
I suspect that MOISH is not really a 16 year old boy who he claims to be, and is actually an entirely different person(and type)all together. anyone share this suspicion with me or am i totally off?????????
i personally think there’s nothing wrong with accapella but i know some people who don’t listen to it, because they feel that in order to have real aveilus you have to follow the spirit of the law and not just the letter of the law-what does everyone think about this?
moish: lifeguarding is the best job in any camp. every other job, for example a counselor job you’re working the whole day- and it’s hard. lifeguarding is just for a few hours a day, and then you’re free the whole night- it’s fun and you could chill!
moish……….leave your room…..make yourself a big cold milkshake……..go outside for a few minutes…..y’know enjoy life. staying in your room the whole day and wallowing in self pity doesn’t get you anywhere, not that i want to preach to you(i’m sure you get enuf of it) but i really care about you!

how about being happy to do things for others, even when it’s an inconvenience.
nieces and nephews are the best, just when they start getting annoying-they go home. siblings on the other hand, you gotta live with 24/7!
22oldgold: just be nice to her-she needs people. lying is just her way of crying out for help and getting attention. once she feels like she has real friends that she could trust and friends who like her for who she is, hopefully she’ll stop lying.

i think the best improvement would be to list whoever is in the coffee room (members and mods) that way no one will post and then have to wait a day for a reply.

i heard that in some places the whole community is getting together in a park and doing it together- now that’s nice(and inspiring)
if it rains or it’s cloudy- which is a big possibility-then you can’t say it. could you imagine that after all the hype about it?
really,you have to know what causes the anger ( person, something that happens etc) and then figure out how to deal with it- like prepare yourself before etc.
mine is totally random-i guess i’m not so creative
