HIEParticipantim a high school student so i cant exactly tell you how working people pull off all nighters but i can tell you that when i was studying for my chemistry regent lastyear which one month before the regent i hardly knew anything, i stayed up ENTIRE nights studying. i studied till around 5:30AM then rested for a half hour or hour then went to yeshiva, and functioned pretty decent in shiur with 1 or 2 coffees. i did this a couple times and other nights i studied till 1 or 2 am easily. THE fact of the matter is: if you know you have to do something YOU DO IT! baruch hashem by hard studying paid off, i got highest mark in my grade! agav, this year i got a little or alot addicted to coffee and sometimes have like 5-7 coffees a day.

HIEParticipantIt’s true there is a massive shortage of jewish mystery-thriller-action novels.
Chaim Greenbaum, auther of the acclaimed novel “The Will” just came out with another. It’s published by Shar Press.
HIEParticipantsomeone once listed their grandmother for sale on ebay, he realy wanted to sell her and he got arrested or somehting of that sort
HIEParticipantshmai drai supper- when my mother says “open the freezer and take some frozen ready made things for supper
HIEParticipantShlishi: not that it’s important but the doctor/lawyer/engineer probably make more money, on average, than the programmer/accountant/marketing guy.
Of course “hakol bidei shamayim chutz miyiras shamayim”, so that includes parnassah.
HIEParticipantOkay i see.
Here’s what I have to say. I’m 19 with about 2 years of driving behind me. My parents won’t let go. I’ve driven on highways with them but every time it’s “next time”. I think they’re being a little over-protective.
HIEParticipanti have to find out
HIEParticipantto all single girls: my sister was going out from 18 she dated for over four years and there were many times that there were a couple months with nothing in the horizon, and atleast once or twice that it appeared to be the right one but fell through. but after 4 and a half years she met the boy. and this boy was for her more then any of the other boys. and this boy had just come back from eretz yisroel so she HAD to wait for him for 4 and half years!! Hashem knows what is right for you and he will direct him straight to you when the time comes! KEEP STRONG!
HIEParticipanti’m a boy not a girl i have navi as a english subject

HIEParticipantsince the talis is made for the tzibbur thats why this halacha applies.
WIY: mincha and mussaf not, the question is if your only davening pesukei d’zmra or after yishtabach do you make a bracha, i will ask this to rav belsky next time i come up with a shaila in mishna berura, prob with in a day or two
HIEParticipantKensington, midwood, marine park are all part of Flatbush, period
October 13, 2010 5:30 am at 5:30 am in reply to: What are popular up and coming neighborhoods for young couples? #700330HIEParticipantIdk much of neighborhoods but I do know that the marine park area of Flatbush is growing with young couples some in Kollel some working, you get the pros there of a city everything very convenient also it’s a nice area and a part of a massive frum community
HIEParticipantthe name is Rav Yosef Savitsky Shlita Rosh HaYeshiva of Yeshiva Torah Vodaath, i’m pretty sure that everyone in the shiur records it because they have to listen to it more then to understand it.
i can give you information on YTV, cuz i’m there, if you have any specific questions. or if the mod can somehow tell me your e’mail address
HIE – check your email
HIEParticipantpaypal, DOES fight for purchases outside of ebay for the record
HIEParticipantyou cant lose by trying it, just make a special email just for this, theres a major chance its real
HIEParticipantbut if its real you can gain tons, and if its fake you lose nothing, you don’t give them any info other then make a user name and password you don’t even have to tell them your name
HIEParticipantif you sign up please post that you did so, just wondering
HIEParticipantno, my friend was in the highest and deepest shiur in america, and then he went to rav tzvi, so although rav tzvi is deep but he was used to my rosh yeshiva, no not rav elya ber, deeper then that, the person isnt so famous but those who heard of him know he gives the most sophisticated deep shiur in the US, believe me he’s not leaving rav tzvi cuz its too deep
HIEParticipantmy bro was in that yeshiva two years ago but i dont think he has shiurim recorded. but i know a guy that was in my yeshiva last year and went there for elul buts coming back cuz wasnt his style shiur, he was used to a very deep deep shiur, seems like that wasnt deep enough for him, i can ask him once yeshiva starts
HIEParticipantthanks everyone,
I see that learning is a very common suggestion, well sunday i learned like half the day and chilled the other half, today i couldnt get myself to, so learned then went out for lunch with friends then went to take the NY permit test, i just turned 16, for all those wondering my age,
SHTEIGING: i mean’t to tell you but you looked preoccupied on the phone, but i havent seen you post in the cr, yes i know your watching it, but where are your posts??
HIEParticipanti hear
HIEParticipantariel, it’s just a rule so easy to not listen to, and a gadget so easy to misuse
HIEParticipantFOR THE RECORD, most shuls do have signs but my point proven that since people are so addicted to it they cant shut it off
do you get my point
HIEParticipantariel, in a way youre right but cellphones are very easy to misuse and so many people misuse it as opposed to bats which 99.9 percent of the time are used correctly. Cellphones are misused by too many! Just open your eyes for a second and youll realize that. anywhere you go everyones yappin their personal lives. Anytime you start a conversation with someone their thumbs are suddenly flappin on their phone! Any minyan you walk into, ATLEAST one phone rings during davening. I can go further but i think my point was brought out
HIEParticipanttheprof1: YOURE absolutely wrong, cellphones are s bad and most people misuse it by texting and talking at times they shouldnt be and getting addicting to it, its not good to be able to be contacted at every second of your life, people cant rest for a second, it used to be that people worked during the day and came home at night, and spent time with their family, now, everyone is always on their blackberrys 24/6, its a good thing shabbos exists.
business suddenly became everyones entire lives. people yap and txt all day. and u say its good?????? WHATS GOOD ABOUT IT?? they survived the 1st 5755 years of the world without it, and they couldve continued, but it corrupted the world.
HIEParticipantHave an amazing year with 12 great months and 52 amazing weeks together with 365 Sensational days along with 8760 healthy hours and 525600 wonderful minutes along with 31536000 incredible seconds!!! Kvt (Kisiva Vichasima Tova) davan shtark!!!
HIEParticipantso u never listen to their warning and when they say there will be a 3 foot snow storm, dont believe them
September 5, 2010 6:22 am at 6:22 am in reply to: Shomrim Member Shot – What Are Your Thoughts? #694601HIEParticipantis it possibal that you are saying motzei shem ra about people who save jewish life????? YOU may be right on a minority of them, but they are still doing an unbelievable job, protecting us, and your saying lashon hara about them??
HIEParticipantyes they do but teir always just a bit off
HIEParticipantyttytvcbbklyn: are you sure about that, im not so sure, if it would have happened in my yeshiva i would have known about it, NO i dont go to YTT B”H, i go to the other one in kensington
HIEParticipantyou people are scaring me, i live in flatbush, but what im most scared about is that i’m dorming this year in my yeshiva in kensington, im so afraid that there will be bedbugs, is there any way to prevent it
