HIEParticipantno what we should do is… give me a couple minutes to come with a solution
HIEParticipantdavid1999: that is 100% true. Rav Belsky shlita doesn’t go to BP on shabbos for this reason.
April 27, 2011 4:54 am at 4:54 am in reply to: Yeah, It's A Rant… Talking In Shul and Attitudes… #761722HIEParticipantwolf, lets get down to it, stop being sarcastic. there is no heter for this whatsoever.
HIEParticipantits so funny, i’ve been in the coffee room no for like 2 and a half years, and seen sooo many people just come and go, many generations, so to say. on the count in the cr that we made 9 months ago with 100+ members like over 80% dont post anymore!!
April 27, 2011 4:41 am at 4:41 am in reply to: Yeah, It's A Rant… Talking In Shul and Attitudes… #761718HIEParticipantwolf, you have a very solid point. a certain shul i used to daven in sometimes on shabbos there are people in the shul that come just to talk. why do they come just make a club where they can sit and shmooze. why do they have to come to shul and shmooze during davening when possibly other people are trying to daven. These people may be very learned people, but wolf, i argue with you on one point, their yiras shamayim can’t possibly be that strong. If a guy can sit there shmoozing during chazaras hashatz where the mechaber says on talking during chazaras hashatz “gadol avono minso” “the sin is too big to carry”, his yiras shamayim can’t be too strong. And kal vachomer by kadish which is the most holy part of davening, people just sit there shmoozing! this is beyond me.
HIEParticipantmaybe that guy was me. how funny. Wolf, don’t get so offended. Take a chill. I didn’t mean it so personally. I sincerely apoligize, and will try in the future to treat people with a little respect. Sorry again
HIE
HIEParticipantwolf, there are always those who will argue but i mean’t the vast majority, and i think we are all in agreement that it was a shtickel chutzpah that 15 years after r moshe’s death, when the vast vast majority of rabonnim accepted that it was no good to make an eruv, they made one. THAT was the chutzpah. wolf, please let me know if you have opposition to what i said here
HIEParticipantpopa_bar_aba: well said. thank you
HIEParticipantmods, can you stop deleting my posts??? wolf wants to hear from me
HIEParticipantyou look at the guys feedback if he has alot of feedbacks and if the percentage is 100% or near it like above 95
HIEParticipantyou look at the guys feedback if he has alot of feedbacks and if the percentage is 100% or near it like above 95
HIEParticipantwolf, i said many things the mods aren’t posting it what should i do
HIEParticipantebay, i bought 2 ipod touches there
HIEParticipanti can’t explain, but all i can say is i live in flatbush and i try to say good shabbos to everyone and almost everyone answers back!
HIEParticipantsmiley face your 6
dovid hamelech, why didn’t you take a number
HIEParticipantim lost here, can someone help me whats goin on here
HIEParticipanthu is her chosson
HIEParticipantDOVID HAMELECH, na well let everyone do it by themself
HIEParticipantsix is up for sale now
HIEParticipantyes, and goody has it correct, no one argued with the psak for 15 years, and suddenly then people went and argued. it was accepted by everyone for a while. i’m not saying its “assur” according to all, but i am saying that it was a massive chutzpah that after 15 years people argue with rav moshe’s psak.
HIEParticipantya, i forgot about the tzeddaka
HIEParticipantA chutzpeh.
HIEParticipanti went to the mint, its pretty nice but blackbeards cave sounds better
HIEParticipantlittle sally saucer, i never heard of that, interesting, i guess i will from now on
HIEParticipantomar rav binyamin: hakol bichezkas sumin ad shehakodosh boruch hu mayir es eineihem, min hucha, “vayifkach elokim es eineha, vateire, vatimalai es hachaimes
rav binyamin says: everyone is blind until Hashem lightens their eyes, as we see in the pasuk, “Hashem opened her eyes and she saw the jug”
HIEParticipantchofetzchaim: WOW you sound like a famous guy. the person i know with 1300 really knows 1300+ people, not stam stores

April 24, 2011 5:50 am at 5:50 am in reply to: If you could live anywhere, where would you live? #890975HIEParticipantim aware of this problem but its everywhere
April 24, 2011 5:50 am at 5:50 am in reply to: If you could live anywhere, where would you live? #890974HIEParticipantoh please!! i dont know where you live in brooklyn, but in my area there are very few fancy houses, all simple houses
HIEParticipanthullo mods??
anyway, wolf, you haven’t brought any proof that the velt didn’t accept it
HIEParticipantbrooklyn yenta: explain
HIE
HIEParticipantit is nuts.
HIEParticipantmods, can you post the rest of his post i want to see what he has to say
April 24, 2011 4:42 am at 4:42 am in reply to: If you could live anywhere, where would you live? #890971HIEParticipantwhats fake about brooklyn??? they say that about lakewood
HIEParticipantits a fact. my father told me it was an accepted thing and then people went against it. it trust him
HIEParticipantthe velt did and then people after went against it, not immediatly.
April 24, 2011 3:59 am at 3:59 am in reply to: If you could live anywhere, where would you live? #890969HIEParticipanti forgot…EY is #1
HIEParticipantdavid1999: I think you are a bit mislead. Rav Moshe Paskened that there cannot be a public eruv in brooklyn, i dont know where you get your nonsense from that “today” rav moshe would allow. Dont mislead yourself to permit chillul shabbos. The velt did accept Rav moshes psak
April 24, 2011 3:38 am at 3:38 am in reply to: If you could live anywhere, where would you live? #890967HIEParticipantlet me tell you why many chose brooklyn. Brooklyn has the largest jewish community in the world other then ISRAEL. A jew has everything he needs. you dont gotta travel to far for a kosher grocery, shul, seforim store, kosher restaurant. its near manhattan. big selection of yeshivos. diversity of frum people. what else can you ask for! its great!!!
HIEParticipantyogibooboo, i was there wat inning
HIEParticipant11219 is just one of the zipcodes in boro park, there are atleast a couple more and kensington is another one and flatbush has a bunch of zipcodes
April 22, 2011 7:49 pm at 7:49 pm in reply to: If you could live anywhere, where would you live? #890956HIEParticipantflatbush, IT ROCKS DA HOUSE!!! tremendous jewish community, and all types of frum yidden yeshivish, chasidish, litvish, modern, sefardi and city life
HIEParticipantyou people dont think i wont argue anymore, but i am 100% sure that there are 1,000,000 frum jews in the US
