HIEParticipant
i have and wish i could give you but the one who gave tom doesn’t allow me to. u should be able to find their floating around
HIEParticipantya it was even worse when i was driving on coney island ave in flatbush and this police guy was going in the other direction and he saw a double parked car in my direction so he quickly just made a U-turn without caring to look and i had to make a short stop and almost hit him as he flew around into my side cuz he “had” to run to give the guy a ticket!
HIEParticipantmochoh timche: i didn’t mean to say there is NOTHING wrong with it. All I mean’t to say was that it isn’t out of line and worse then many other things
HIEParticipantweird argument. everything shud get delayed.
HIEParticipantbrooklyn is so chillled you just chill here its the best place around. In OOT, you walk out of your house at 8pm, you feel depressed cuz its DEAD. In brooklyn you walk out of your house many hours later then that, there are still people around, people to talk to, place to daven. you people are ridiculous! you wanna live a depressed life OOT??? Your next door neighbor lives a mile away. Then they say in brooklyn you don’t know the person around the block from you. I don’t neccesarily think thats always true but the fact is, i know all the people on my block, and that is over 50 frum heimeshe families. In OOT you may know all the people in your city but its still less then 50 people. So the next time you bash brooklyn, just remember that your missing out alot! Oh and i love when they say that brooklyners are rude, biggest joke i ever heard. THe same rude people are OOT. Just since there are more people in brooklyn, so you see more rude people. OOT there are less people bichlal so ofcourse there are less rude peopl!!
HIEParticipantA bochur told me he asked Rav Belsky if it’s mutar for him to have texting? Rav Belsky replied: Absolutely YES, as long as it isn’t used excessively. Alot of bochurim do use it excessively but many including myself DONT.
HIEParticipantadams: what should be wrong with hiking?
HIEParticipant“this thread is a SHANDA!”
mikehall12382: you’re a SHANDA. You are so close minded, and can’t seem to understand how a person can follow sports. THere is absolutely nothing wrong with it if a person follows sports without idolizing the players. Don’t say nonsense here just to make people feel like their doin the wrong thing.
HIEParticipantin my house were pretty strict we dont buy all the nonsense on pesach. But i was in a hotel lastnight for a concert, its not normal what they have there. They served for supper hamburgers and BUNS that tasted like chometz! They served macaroni for lunch one day that was BETTER then chometz (someone there told me) and there is so much cake!! you wouldn;t know its pesach!
HIEParticipantit’s so interesting when people talk halachos and have no idea what their talking about, this thread being an example!
HIEParticipantHEY! i hope to see everyone by the yankee game sunday night!! Its gonna be loaded with jews!!
HIEParticipantRav Belsky has BH left the hospital and is in rehab. The Yeshiva has been updating the following hotline on the condition of the Rav Belsky Shlita: 347-592-2050
HIEParticipantfeif the matziv: YOu absolutely do NOT win. But nice try anyway therE:-)
HIEParticipant2facer: you have it totally wrong. The BOYS do or direct everything, Girls do a little help and that is in the kitchen.
HIEParticipantwhat? this is a totally mature conversation. period. Boys do more in every possible way besides the kitchen! period
HIEParticipantim not saying they do nothing. cooking they take care of a shtickel. but the boys still help out in the kitchen and do much much more! Its a FACT
HIEParticipanti think that your mistaken. More and more chassidim are moving in and taking over boro park. the litvaks are moving to flatbus lakewood etc…
HIEParticipantno. boys do much more. girls are on the lazzzy side.
HIEParticipantin generel: boys help much much more then girls do. period.
HIEParticipantIve been through the yeshiva system and i know what all of these programs are about.
HIEParticipantlogician: Been there. Done it. All these tests and reward systems that the yeshivos offer do not require all that much learning. maybe 1-3 hours a day. That isn’t all that much. There is no program in any yeshiva that is telling the kids to sit and learn 10 hours a day bein hazmanim!
HIEParticipanti like texting. but some people say it’s very anti social. If you really need a response right away and the guys not answering the txt then i wud call. if not i wud wait
HIEParticipantlogician: what in the world are you talking about/?? These programs have absolutely no pressure. The one in my area davens 8:30 they serve breakfast and then they learn from 10 till 12 and then have a shiur for 45 minutes. what kind of pressure is that. That is a perfect type of learning for bein hazmanim. please explain what you mean that these programs create too much pressure!
HIEParticipantits kosher, supposedly it’s the best kosher pizza cuz they are italians.
HIEParticipantblabla: that is utterly false. Boys help quite a bit in the kitchen like changing over the kitchen to pesachdig. pealing vegetables/fruitts and so on… Boys are just as much needed at home as are girls.
logician: ok so why don’t you get us back on topic…
HIEParticipantpeerimsameach: take a chill dude! you don’t need soo much vacation! 5 weeks is more then enough!
HIEParticipantwolf, watch your language!
HIEParticipantblabla: excuse me! Boys help quite a bit. dont say that boys do nothing and the girls do everything that is utterly false!
HIEParticipantchamcham: you start to make me wonder what yeshiva your in cuz i’m prob going to a post high school yeshiva in lkwd next year!
HIEParticipantidk, that was tiferes matzah bakery i was also wondering what happened to it.
HIEParticipantchacham i hear ya but wat about the summer bitul torah?
HIEParticipantstuck, you live in brooklyn right?
HIEParticipantya…a bit exxagerated having 10 weeks. there shouldn’t e more then 5 weeks!
HIEParticipantstuck, you keep in touch?
HIEParticipantand what about the guys that daven at the 11 and 12 minyanim? is that the right thing?
HIEParticipantwow thats pretty cool to have a classmate your sons rebbi. There’s actually a rebbi in my yeshiva who had his brother as a talmid!
HIEParticipantya but i’ve heard many people say that boys often lose what they got the whole zman from hangin out with the wrong people over bein hazmanim.
I’ve never heard anyone say that. -95
HIEParticipantthis argument here…. such nonsense..
HIEParticipantradio? what radio?!
HIEParticipantvizhnitz matzos in monsey are $10 a pound YES 10 dollars a pound you can save at least half your money! It’s worth the gas!
HIEParticipantim sort of looking for those exceptions
HIEParticipantjoe the plumber: can you tell me a little about the place. I herd the guys there are a little “shpitzy flatbush” type is that true? or are they a little more towards the yeshivis side. how big is it? and what yeshiva your friends come from b4?
HIEParticipantwhat about Gellermans, steins and rubensteins in Lakewood? anybody know about these places?
January 1, 2012 12:09 am at 12:09 am in reply to: Was there really a spitter in Beit Shemesh? #840368HIEParticipantwolf, enough with the nonsense.
HIEParticipantapushatayid: not such yeshivish places!!!
HIEParticipantyour calling me yeshivish/????
it is going lifnim meshuras hadin
HIEParticipantits crazy that texting has a language of it’s own!!
HIEParticipantya i am in YTV it’s my brother thats asking about it. he isn’t there so doesn’t know much.
flatbushguy: your kids went to the marine park branch or were always in kensington?
HIEParticipantapashutayid: stop hocking, you know exactly what I mean.
Flatbushguy: As Far as i”m aware the limudei kodesh is very good at this point and it’s pretty hard to get in
HIEParticipantDaas yochid: my brother?? Huh??
Jothar: what exactly is so funny about the initials MTV??
Apushatayid: stop hocking just answer the question you know exactly what i mean!
nfgo3: sorry about my punctuation!
