And, assuming state funding for yeshivos becomes a reality (which it won’t — but that’s a side issue), how do you know that yeshivos won’t merely raise their tuition 80-100% of the amount that they receive?

When the city decides to give more funding to yeshivos, the tuition will go down
My camp paid $137.50 for 4 weeks this past summer. For an off day i had to pay $8 for the rota-tor. Do the math, $137.50/23 (I’m not counting Shabbos) is approximately $6 a day. That means i had to pay more to take off then I make per a day!!!!
But the truth is, I’m not going to camp to make big bucks, i have somewhat of a good time, and there’s no use in complaining. Just gotta deal with reality.

Maskim 100%. I personally don’t double park b’shitah. I know I can’t change the world, but that doesn’t make okay for me to do. The sad part is that if someone is sitting in his car double parked, and a cop comes to give a ticket, he’ll try to drive away. And if he does end up getting the ticket, the cop will be called “that dirty mamzer”.

I went on chol hamoed sukkos to central park and we rented bikes near there, its great. Central park is a beautiful park, it takes between 2 and 3 hours to bike through the whole park. You can sit down on benches to eat and eat I had a wonderful time there, so I’m going again on chol hamoed pesach.

All the newspapers when showing snowflakes make a star I was always wondering what the meaning of that star is cause I always thought that snowflakes have no specific shape, finally by theblizzard that NYC recently experienced I looked at each snowflake and saw that they all are actually stars that look like they just came out of a mold, it’s unbelievable how each snowflake in it self has so much to it
