I just figured out what tzippi meant, 24/5 23/1 because 24/6 is not completely accurate because Shabbos is 25 hours!
There is a sefer called Olas Tamid, it is in Hebrew and explains some of the tefilos.
You can also try Pathway to Prayer and Praying with Fire (I heard that praying with Fire is a best-seller among Chinese pyromaniacs 🙂 )
Instead of Will Hill starting all these personal threads, YW should have editable profiles for members so anyone can write what they want about themselves if they so wish and anyone can click on a member’s name or the member link under it to see what that member has divulged.
As for the topic, I am a Jew. daven ashkenazi, went to yeshiva, still consider myself Yeshivish although some may disagree.

I agree that YW and the (kosher) internet in general is extremely addictive and time-wasting. When sitting down to the computer, try opening notepad (or something similar, I recommend notepad because it doesn’t slow down the computer as much as MSWord) and make a list of things that you would like to accomplish and how long you would like to spend on each and how much time you want to spend all together. Then comes the hard part, sticking to it!
A suggestion to R’ YW Editor, post the date (Hebrew and English) when this should be completed and post a reminder the week before (maybe also 2 weeks) that the deadline is approaching. I know that our usernames have emails that were used to sign up, is it possible to send email reminders to anyone who posted on this thread? I will BE”H remember, but with so many people, someone might forget.

kitzur_dot_net, there is a add-on to Firefox called ImgLikeOpera that I always use. I keep pictures turned off at all times (except some filters that turn them on for sites like YW) and I can right-click individual pictures to show the, or click the button on the toolbar to show all pictures from the current site. It’s a great add-on and I highly recommend it to all who use Firefox. (I also recommend using FlashBlock and AdBlockPlus)

lgbg, I didn’t get anything in the mail either but when I went to the polling place my name was on the list. You should probably call up to find out which polling place though. If you are not registered you can vote a provisional ballot and submit a complaint that you had registered and it didn’t work. The people at the polling palce should be able to tel you how to do this.
