This place is run by some nice moderators, some who have an excellent sense of humor.
And I don’t appreciate what they do in other schools (for financial concerns), they hire new teachers, young girls straight off the boat, every year.

I found (at least from my view, the receiving end), there to be some very nice, gracious, caring, compassionate Mods. Some were… but I tried to focus on the others.
And I certainly DID appreciate your genius!!! You were the only one, as a Mod who took (a very active) part in the discussions. I didn’t interact with you, you were far above my head, I just enjoyed reading your posts!!

Reminds me of something so outrageous. Something recently purchased (religious article) with my own money, had the first half of it plastered with “dedications” (ads, to be precise). No one dedicated it other than me, with my money. I paid for it, I should have MY NAME in it. Why do I deserve to have someone else’s advertisements in my thing??

Comes to mind a cute story, where a couple went to a Rov (a most competent one!!) and asked for divorce. The woman in question had a sha’alah about her name, so the Rav advised them to change it (maybe I’m getting wrong on the details), and he should only use her new first name for thirty days. Like ‘Good morning, Rachel’, ‘Good night, Rachel’, ‘I’m going out, Rachel’. After thirty days they (naturally) did NOT show up again to proceed further with their divorce.
So it’s an excellent thing to have a sha’alah aboout one’s name!!
