Agreed. Factor: Public or not?

Personally I don’t agree with everything these Rav’s have told me regarding what should and/or should not be told. Everything is all relevant to where one is holding in their dating life(2nd 3rd 4th dates?)I think. Rules: If you have made a mistake in life that you no longer make, then why bring it up? Health issue, different story altogether. Ah gut Yom Tov to all. 🙂
September 26, 2010 1:11 pm at 1:11 pm in reply to: Shidduchim: Why is everybody lying and is it ok? #698078HadaLXTPMemberI was told by a known Rav that not all secrets need to be told to a perspective Shidduch.
HadaLXTPMemberBeshah Toiva U’mesukah.
For both of us. 🙂
HadaLXTPMember“There are a lot of cheap places to go if you dont want to spend a lot on a first date (I kinda feel like a lounge is a bit of a lazy cop out, not to mention boooooring)”
Booooooring as you say, is all relevant to the person you are with.
HadaLXTPMemberI think this would be a good idea.
Try “selling” the Aliyos for Dafim of Gemara?
HadaLXTPMemberWhere can I get, that on the bottom of the screen should be translated in English?
August 1, 2010 3:53 pm at 3:53 pm in reply to: Breach in Tznius: Recent affliction attacking Klal Yisroel #1025984HadaLXTPMemberI haven’t been reading this thread only intermittently. So, please forgive me if this has been spoken about already.
It bothers me tremendously when girls wearing shirts that look very nice when standing up but when they bend over or sit down, one sees more then they bargained for. Please don’t tell me not to look. It happens everywhere. In the grocery, on the street when someone bends down to pick up something or tie a shoe lace. Whats wrong with having a stylish t-shirt that is long enough. I know there are t-shirts like that out there, just not enough sadly.

HadaLXTPMemberMe too. I am just curious why one wants to know?
HadaLXTPMemberIt seems like i should have never put up this thread. I agree every sort of major Health issue needs to be told before it gets too serious where someone gets hurt. No question!
We all must believe in the bigger plan of Hakodosh Baruch Hu even though we don’t have any clue what it is. Zeits Gibentched and be Matzliach.
HadaLXTPMemberWhat I meant is. When one has an issue. Does it matter when one tells? If the other person is completely normal or not. for example Health or Family issue.
HadaLXTPMemberAlso not every Shadchan gives the right age. I know personally a Shadchan giving my age younger then I was (“So it would be easier for them”).
HadaLXTPMemberFirst off I appreciate all your responses.
To 2qwety Thanks.
To A600 I don’t think you understood the question.
I was talking from the other perspective. When to tell when someone has so and so issues? Are they all in the same boat?
