As I’ve read these posts, I’ve come across a few times the phrase “v’lo sosuru achrei levavchem vachrei eineichem” it’s meaning is not exactly how it’s translated. I have read somewhere (can’t remember at this time) that one goes on what you see and the other goes on what you feel. Only one of them is regarding what pepole think they both stand for, and the other is for Avoidah zarrah.

Exactly my sentiment. I’ve seen profiles, and one of the questions is, ARE YOU A BAAL TESHUVAH? Usual answer is NO. I ask myself why not?…..
MIddos, Yichus and good brother’s, are all very important. Personally I prefer a girl who is on the way up. Meaning, a girl who either comes from a prestigious background and her jewishness is stable or on the way up, or a girl from not so prestigious background who is more Frum.

Regardless they will go after Lee whether they win or not. Depends on whether he resigns with Texas or not.
For those who think these games are a Bitul Torah,(me being one of them). There is the option of watching a condensed version of the game(basically almost every out and interesting play) usually about 4 hours after the game is over. If it’s possible to hold out till the next morning, then the game could be watched in about 15 minutes. No commentary though. You won’t see the score from this page. You would have to be careful that when it loads you put it in full screen mode so that you won’t see the score, or other highlights from the game.

I was on my way to a Date once, forgot my wallet and had to go home and get it, was delayed an hour. Girls, I believe, should bring a small purse or wristlet, containing ID(if applicable), some form of monetary solution and a cell phone. Please put phone on silent. Unfortunately it has happened more than a few times where all of a sudden, Buzz or nice singsong(or not nice depending on who you ask)comes along. To me it shows a little immaturity. For most part I am OK with it, but when it happens more than once (on the same date) it’s a different story. 🙂 Hatzlacha to all.

Considering New2 is a bochur, I don’t know if that proposition is so tzanua. Nor is it necessary for that matter. growinggirl is by far the most intelligent and eloquent young lady I have met thus far, judging from her posts. Don’t be scared, give the rav a call! To say that someone is vain because they ask for a picture is ridiculous to some extent and unfair. Attraction is not on looks alone. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I personally have gone out with “gorgeous, absolutely beautiful and really good looking” to some yes , but not me. That’s reason I ask for a picture, but not always do I ask for one. I have been fooled too many times unfortunately.
