I was told by my Rebbe that lady minhagim go accroding to the girls mother. What her mother does is what she follows. This includes but not limited to Challah, Shabbos Lecht, and taharas hamishpachah. Other things like nusach tefillah, gebrokts, etc. goes accroding to the lady’s husband’s minhagim……….
Mehadrin’s tastes good but Norman’s is way way better.

I think everybody is missing my point. As ‘popup’ mentioned (KUDOS), there is is a quota b/c of Affirmative Action to be filled and I never said that Jews get in b/c they are Jews. Jews get in b/c of there ethnicity not their religion.

I didn’t say Jews are European. I said they are Ethnic European and Harvard cannot say no to Jews just b/c they are Jews. The guy I know got in b/c of the quota that had to be filled.
What your saying is that African-Americans aren’t African-Americans, they are just Americans. I’m saying that African-Americans are American with African ethinticity.
I know 2 people in Harvard. One got in from Touro and one got in with a BTL (Yeshiva Degree).
The guy with the BTL gave a course on how simple it is. I don’t know all the details but one major point is that b/c of ethnic/racial laws, Harvard needs to be X% White, X% Black, X% Oriental, X% European, etc…….
A lot of Jews fall under the later category and therefore Harvard has no choice but to except them under penalty of discrimination.

This past shabbos the Rav in shul asked this question of why we say Lag Beomer and not Lag Leomer (according to minhag sfard) ???
He answered that Belz doesnt say Leshaim Yichud on 32 of the Omer bc the Nodah BeYehuda was anti Leshaim Yichud, so on his Yurtzeit they omit it. The Mechaber in shulchan orach writes LeOmer but the Rama writes BeOmer. Guess whose Yurtzeit is on Lag Beomer….???? That’s right, the Rama’s yurtzeit. So that is why we say Lag Beomer, out of respect for the Rama.

Ladies D & E are the Velcro’s….short hair but a little rough like velcro. Ladies F & G are the BUMS….short hair but not so short.

It was for a show called ‘Blue Bloods’. I saw an ad on Craigslist that ‘Blue Bloods’ is looking for real chassidim to shoot a scene. This Morning, my aunt who works a block away went to check it out confirmed that it was ‘Blue Bloods” crew by asking them which show or movie they are shooting. I saw pics from the set that she sent and the ‘chassidm’ on the set don’t look real…..
