Lol I’m worse than all of u I needed a mri and begged for an open the dr said I couldn’t for the kind of test I needed. I flipped went to the place (and learned if I ever go again bring a head covering not sheitel cuz they make u take it off don’t ask!) Anyway I had my eyes closed thinking of anything else the lowered the machine or made me higher whatever I felt it getting closer I flipped get me out of her ran off got dressed ran all the way home came in house like I don’t know what my husband thought sb was chasing me lol I’m clostropobic
con ed will come down to ur house and help u to save $ they will show u what takes the most electricity and how u can save like by not keeping things plugged in when not in use cuz it still cost $

i actually work very hard (and many hrs) making shidduchim
gutters and leaders is for a roofer and there are plenty of them but u better get on there waiting list so they may actually see u bf the winter
we had a simular problem we has somebody come down and waterproff the bricks that was all around that back drain cuz when it rained very hard it would back up and hit the wall and go into the basement
we also pay a yearly fee to the sewer company they come down a couple of times a yr and do preventive cleaning in drain in bk of house and in basement main sewer
i think its a great idea to try to match up your friends u both truly know each other and is not somebody stam matching up
im not sure what could harm ur friendship when i set up anybody i also im trying my best no hard feelings and if it doesnt work out it is one closer>>
If people would know how many hours of work back and forth it they would flip! Everybody should just try the worst they could get is a NO but u would hit urself if u thought of st and 5 yrs down the line they get married and u could of done it 5 yrs bf and made the couple happy earlier anyway its the best feeling in the world when u actually make that shidduch so its worth going right bk and trying again don’t give up!!!
I also had a “problem “with it till I went myself iTs very different mc donald is a resturant w a free play area for costomers chucky cheese is a play area which happens to serve food also like every amusement park…and btw camps take kids on trips there too
I always learned that u can’t eat bf davening cuz it like in the time of the bais hamikdash eating bf giving a korbon. But when I got married my husband side all have cake and coffee bf shul and I was surprised! And then I was more surprised to learn the shabbos bavafin when chosen gets called up and friends family come to the house to escort him to shul before davening pp set up a whole breakfast for the men
Lol welcome to the REAL jewish world from applying ur kid to preschool and all the way up till shidduchim they check u out so there r no secrets in this world and u have no idea who knows ur secrets!! But tHen again u want to check pp out if want urself or ur child to be in the right seviva and not just to except anybody! Btw if u think asking queations about shidduch u should hear what they ask about u to get into a school
I had a similar problem w a find always judging the garb and the past until I showed her that’s not what counts in life the frumkit and halachos count “not if ur daughter is wearing an undershirt in 90 decrees” but if her daughter was dressed tzious and if she was doing this halachacly correct in kitchen and on shabbos in kitchen and if she would let her kids do things I wouldn’t ….it was a very slow process over a couple of yrs till I got thru that thick head of hers but the point was brought thru loud and clear (it also took a while to stand up for myself)

Almost everything u can normally freeze u can freeze from now till yom tov the best is in a good freezer and one that is not constantly opening up for ices. Like challah cakes kugel and then meats….

My husband and I do not allow our children to collect we get allot of protests from our kids and even they got a word or two in school and I tell my kids whom ever has a problem let them call me. First door to door collecting. Crazy!!! Second by the time my big ones come home pp r putting little ones to sleep I know how annoying it is when the bell rings during super bath and bed time everybody runs to the door. And most important why we don’t let they r selling raffles or tickets whatever and not given a pushka to put $ into its a very big achraus tzedoka $ so I have to have it one my head if some gets lost or a baby plays w it….
I’m sorry to say this but…its some stupid parents who lost the concept of what’s important in life! They feel there children have to go thru college get a degree settle down with a job and then they r ready to start going out we a yidden have to prioritize!!!
Chessed they don’t put back to sell I was in cosco early in morning when they had a big truck taking away the returns and I was in an other store parking lot and there was a guy by the dumpster smashing things I asked what he’s doing they said he is destroying all returns so no body will take out of the trash…

My girls school does not allow hoods and it took me along time to figure out why but I did finally don’t jump me but pay attention to somebody else (not urself) wearing a hooded dress or shirt not a sweatshirt and u will notice the front of ur shirt comes up very high on their neck and then in the bk the hood hangs down…and there is a lot of the bk of the neck and the bk exposed more then if u would wear a round necked shirt
I think in the chasidish world being pleasantly plump is not such a big problem plenty of girl who are get married its more of a problem in the litvish work and like women don’t gain weight w pregnancy and age so what then divorce them? Anyway y are boys even know womens sizes and being busy with womens body’s who’s putting this in there head?
We do believe in “shadim” There are many halachos involving shadim like for example never close up a window or door way (and if u need to u have to do…) And it is brought down bec*use the shadim need to go in and come out and if block it causes a lot of problems….so I guess we believe in them
I kept mine on my license bank accounts… but people call me Mrs….. If u ever “ret” a shidduch and hear the questions being asked ..then u would understand everything! Before u hear anything about the girl its right away how skinny is she what size clothing is she (like she will stay thaT size all her life) we need a picture… Are we trying to find a wife or a model for a magazine

There was a story I think in the misphaca of a couple that won the lottery it sounded like in israel they had sb help them decide what to do w the $ tzoka they gave to a close family who really needed it then they bought apt for as many kids as they have (and I guess rented out) and bought themselves bigger apt they were living in a dump and cont living regular live went to work….and had a lot of pp not talking to them cuz they were not handing out $

I think u should mention it to somebody in the family that they should go bk and say I asked the shadchin what she got…and she said nothing. On ur parts pls be very careful on ur thoughts of the young couple I have heard of many stories first hand that the couple was experiencing problems like for example they couldn’t have kids and went for brochos and they were told first take care of the shadchin and they were shocked because they thought the parents took care…
First of all like was said bf the sklener rebbe is known for telling women to shave. If u believe that he has the koach to give u a brocho why do u think he doesn’t have the koach to tell u to do st which will be a zechus for u. I know the non chasidish have a very hard time understanding the koach of rebbe but I believe he wouldn’t tell u to do it if he felt it wasn’t for u. Also Hashem doesn’t put us in situations we can not handle so obviously u can handel this. And who says shaving means bald the machine has many numbers start w the biggest ull see that its not so bad u will defiantly be cooler in the summer. And u don’t have to tell anybody u don’t need all friends and family comments just between u and ur husband
I 100% agree people have nothing better to do with their time and money but to match up a pacifier clip which mind u can cost an easy $25 to their babies outfits we are living in a crazy world were people are so busy with what others will think about their outer and people don’t think to work on the inner like why a baby a couple months old needs a couple pairs of “crib” shoes to match each outfit
I like things that will be used and not take up space so how about
A silver challah knife or as was said a challah cover or a crystal wine decantor w matching small glasses to use after kidish to pour in wine to family and or guests

A speech for women on tznuis won’t work I was at one a few years ago it was packed amazing! I was already told that if for example ur in the hospital and didn’t have candles and couldn’t get….u turn of the light wait a few and turn on and make a brocha….Oh course everybody has to ask for themselves. And about forgetting not pertaining to hospital I know pp that were told they don’t have to light extra just longer for rest Of life..m
