what is going on in our community with the drinking of men on shabbos it starts at the friday night meal cont at shalom zachors and shabbos day kiddish and the meal finishing off bottles and bottles

it might help if u need to go out or to accomplish in the house that what ever u do stops half hr before ur first bus (not always possible but try it will make all the diffrence) set a timer/alarm for 5 min bf the first bus and lie down u will be able to great ur children refreashed and have more patience to conquer the night

many many years ago when i was in 12th grade bf sem our teachers were giving us some tips about being away from home and being guests for shabbos and that was #1 about striping the beds!

now that im a mother i would love that somebody would strip the bed so it would save me a few min especially if my kids doubled up over shabbos and now were taking there beds back

when i go away i usually strip the sheets fold it and then ask the person where would they like it on the bed or by the machine cuz if u ask them if u should strip it they feel funny saying yes but once u say its striped already they like thanks yes please bring them to the machine

we asked a rav about a non religous person cooking and were told that they can not turn the fire on themselves but if u turn it on for them u can eat anything they cook (very insulting to them cuz they know the halachos so they feel ur treating them like a guy) so for example person makes chulent in crookpot the leave the room (bf its cooked) were told to unplug and plug in our self like we cooked it

most people today do a one mand band it is totlly excepted and u can ask to hear them bf ask them where the next place they r playing and go see for ur self some r soo good u wouldnt even know its a one man band but of course if u have an extra $2000 approx to throw away then u can go for a fully band

this problem acctually bothered me a couple of years ago that even if u go to nj in some stores pepsi and coke have no hechser so i called up the o u and kof k sopoke to one of the head rabbi who both told me that i should not buy if it has no hechser it is not so much as change of ing it could be that what they made bf on the machines was not kosher they named some drinks that are made by same company on the same machines that r outride not kosher yes they wash inbetween but when they have a hecher they make sure what was done bf how hot the machines r washed…and both hechsers said without a hechser dont buy

it is a big hit in my family put shreaded cheese on bottom of boil and then pour the hot soup on top!
