The police tried many ways to stop us from coming – like in Benei Brak they stopped buses and didn’t let them go after 2 pm, and in Route 443 they blocked the traffic – lucky the buses from Kiriat Sefer were smart and went around, passing through the arab villages with the arabs amazed watching bus after bus full of frum people going past, and some even waved to them with thumbs up! I know first hand this info.
ggParticipantto NJ_Mom: Thank you very much, that would be very helpful – in the meantime, my aunt told me that she remembers that they called her Ruchl. But she was niftar the year that my aunt was born so she doesn’t even have any memories of her, and my father was only 3 years old then.
ggParticipantThanks YWN for updating us in the real updates of what’s going on. We’ll keep on davening!
ggParticipantThanks Eclipse. In the meantime a friend of mine told me to look up the Sefer HaTefillah from the Ba’al Pele Yoetz-zt”l in which there is a beautiful Techina – I’ll check to see if it’s the same.
ggParticipantIt’s hard to follow and it looks like the Jerusalem Post or CNN. Why did you have to make such a dramatic change, what was wrong with the old heimish look, now if you want to check out the news, you have to browse all over until you get to the section that you want bla, bla bla – why not leave it with the news coming out chronologically.
And by the way, it should be an opportunity for you to do a recheck of lashon hara -I must say it was very upsetting to read some of your articles from the past few weeks, and I was wondering if you had become less strict in your halachic observance which we all appreciate and that’s why we choose to read you and not the goyishe news.
