genuineMemberShe can check out Rabbi Horowitz’s (from Project YES) website, it has some resources listed in terms of programs, schools, and therapists that specialize in dealing with at risk teenagers.
I’m not sure what you mean by a boy’s club, but I can suggest Our Place- it is a drop in center for OTD adolescents. There are also local agencies that can provide therapy, like JBFCS or Ohel.

genuineMemberThank you everyone for your responses…:)
MiddlePath, if you don’t mind sharing…which field you were going to go into and which you alternatively chose? I’m having a similar dilemma right now.

(Just to clarify)
genuineMemberIt’s a prominent school (though not ivy league) for a social service related field. I just wanted to hear about others’ experiences or observations because I feel like it’s late in the process to be left hanging, when the schools are already starting classes in two months.
genuineMemberIt’s not a medical school
genuineMemberThe forums discuss fall admissions, while I’m aiming for spring…and they definitely interview.

genuineMemberI was wondering if anyone could give me more information on both Hunter’s and Wurzweiler’s programs.
Hunter-How is Hunter for a Jewish person? Are they accommodating for Yomim Tovim? Do they place you in field work, or do they allow you to choose an agency/work in a Jewish agency?
Wurzweiler- How much of a scholarship do they give?
