THE CLIMB
GabbyMemberAll education is important (in the right setting)
GabbyMemberFirst of all, don’t eat or drink by your computer. Drinking is even worse because if something spills, it could ruin the inside mechanisms. If you had a plastic keyboard cover, you could easily shake off crumbs and wash the stickiness off. I am assuming that you don’t, so you can clean off visible chametz with a Q-tip between the keys and then spray a compressed air can to extract anything leftover.
P.S. Your computer probably came with little cleaning brushes that are more effective than Q-tips.
GabbyMemberYou think that just because DVDs say “Women Only” that men can’t buy it?
GabbyMemberIt’s a great way to communicate with friends who you aren’t able to see often. I “buzz” with friends from Israel all the time in Hebrew… it’s a great thing!
GabbyMemberFor my Bat Mitzvah, my chessed project was packaging fruits for a soup kitchen and he gave me a discount of more than 50% off and delivered free!!
GabbyMemberEDDIE IS AWESOME!! 🙂 (Hey, Eddie!)
GabbyMemberThe most important thing is what’s on the inside… if someone is wearing a juicy sweatsuit, yet is talking about people behind their backs, that doesn’t impress me.

GabbyMemberAbsolutely… every person counts… no matter which gender… it is very important that Jews show achdut at rallies and how can we all be together if all the women are at home
GabbyMemberEach situation is different… they should take their time and not rush into anything
GabbyMemberLearn to sew your own clothes (or at least alter the non-tzniut things you find and desire)
GabbyMemberI’ve heard of this expression once and it was not directed at me. I had no idea what it meant and apparently no one else does because based on reading these posts, everyone has different opinions. Labeling is VERY HARMFUL! People obviously take it in different ways and can be hurt by tactless people. It lowers girls (and maybe guys’) self esteem. You all seem so concerned with Lashon Hara and labeling is stereotyping and lashon hara. If you say it to their face, I don’t think anyone will take it positively. And if you say it behind their back, it’s definitely lashon hara.

GabbyMembergo get ur nails done … then go out to lunch (doesn’t have to be fancy, but it can’t hurt 🙂
… of course you should feel pretty and confident so go for a nice long walk with your friends (holding a big icy drink like a coolata, ice coffee, etc. is great (you have somewhere to put your hands and won’t be thirsty)…. ok i know it’s winter so you might want a hot drink 🙂
Any way, you’ll be enjoying each others company so much because as friends, you have so much in common and don’t even have to go anywhere to relax and talk and it’ll be fun.
