Now that this product has entered a more public phase there are many who have reacted and spoken against it. This does not make it a “campaign”. And there is certainly no reason to consider the reactions to be “organized” by anyone, (such as a steering committee) as as implied by an “organized campaign”. I’m sure you have your reasons for seeing the reactions as the “launching” of an “organized campaign”, but I’m also sure you can understand that most of us reject that view.
feivelParticipantAny Jewish company that uses a video of a beautiful blonde woman in makeup and jewelry to sell their product has already lost my trust and interest in anything else they have to present regarding that or any other product.
feivelParticipantThank you.

I try to stay offline as much as I can. But I needed some help here.
What better place to turn to?
feivelParticipantThe house brand from omega nutrition

feivelParticipantI do have a good source however for hot sauces online, if anyone is interested.
feivelParticipantWhat I meant was:
Does anyone know of a online source from which to purchase MCT oil. I already plan to use it as opposed to coconut oil.
Thanks anyway Daas
The problem I’m having is determining which ones have a good heksher. I did find one and already ordered it but it’s considerably more expensive than some of the other ones

That must be it
feivelParticipantThank you sam
It was actually a rhetorical question.
feivelParticipantIn order to see the aynayim more clearly, you need to pay attention only to the top half of the diagram and not the bottom half. The bottom half is the optic tract, a second set of neurons, not the original neurons that emanate from the eye.
feivelParticipantAnd what do the “academic researchers” propose as the origin of this enigmatic idiomatic phrase?
feivelParticipantYou never change. I remember.
You were just the same when you were moderator 0.5.
You got the highest grades, from simple Deleting to Poster-Annoying level IV.
but you never knew how to show the proper respect for the senior moderators.
feivelParticipantThey’re hanging out with me in the moderator lounge. Were discussing old times.
By the way, 100, it’s about time you get me another double latte. And don’t forget the napkin this time.
feivelParticipantI’m not trying to prove anything about the Boreh.
I’m just pointing out that scientists that work in the “deep theory” end of the spectrum of science, in general are fanatic atheists who will overlook any principle of logic or science, no matter how absurd or contradictory their conclusions are in order not to have to accept that there is a Creator. Their faith in this principle, though founded on nothing more than self interest and tayvah,, is wondrous and blinding.
If you knew how the process of determining deep theory played itself out in the upper levels of academia (as i do) you wouldn’t be so dazzled by them.

feivelParticipantBTW Ive been to yeshiva Chinese auctions including such as Chofetz Chaim / Bais yaakov where the prizes have been Mets / Yankees / Giants / Rangers or Jets Tickets
Ive also been on group trip to Sporting events from FRUM organizations (Baseball , Hockey and basketball) there are no group tickets to Giants / Jets
yes, its a shame. unfortunately living in america, immersed in a pervasive environment of goyish value, can distort the seichel of the best institutions. what a difficult time we are living in.
feivelParticipantIf you dont like Sports, that is fine. I am not asking you to.
i do like sports, i also enjoy reading novels, watching tv and going to all kinds of movies. as a matter of fact i used to watch about 5 hours of tv a day. i also love going to beaches, and hearing women sing. taivah needs a lot of work to tame. but when one is trying to love his Boreh, one tries.
However if you are going to BAN it
i dont propose banning anything. i understand why you would enjoy going to sporting events.
feivelParticipantfeel free to discuss my opinion, but im not going to further explain or defend it:
in terms of our tachlis as The Jewish Nation, as a whole, (in spite of the wondrous Baal Teshuvah spirit, and a small kernel of Yidden) we are presently the worst we have ever been since Matan Torah
feivelParticipantnot on this thread. I’ve just logged on
feivelParticipanti frequently take my little kids to bars and pool-halls. although there is a lot of behavior and language here that they really shouldnt be seeing and hearing, i think it will help them in the future to cope with the real world. i dont agree with all the “fanatics” who say we should isolate our Jewish children from negative goyish influences.
some of the places even serve kosher food. so it MUST be okay!
i know some of you might say that it is illegal to take kids to places like that. could be, if so maybe i will have to stop taking them, but surely its ok for ME to go. i mean im an adult, and smart, and have self control. i can just ignore all the language and the women and how they are dressed and just concentrate on the game and having fun.
its mutar!
im not going to blindly follow those who try to push chumras down my throat. i dont have to impress anyone with what a good Eved Hashem i am. as long as everything i do is according to Halachah, thats just fine. i mean does Hashem go out of his way for me? why should i have to go out of my way for Him?

feivelParticipanthere is the complete 90 shiurim, each about 1 1/2 hours long of Rabbi Avigdor Miller, zt’l on Chovos Halavavos in english. you can listem to them online or download them.
http://www.kolhalashon.com/New/HomePage/NewDefault.aspx?Lang=Hebrew&English=True
click on magdei shiurim
click on Rav Avigdor Miller shiurim (its alphabetical, under R)
click on English >> Mussar V’Chasiddus >> Rabbi Avigdor Miller
click on chovos halavovos (the link is written in Hebrew but the shiurim are in english)
edit: i just read your post again, Chovos Halevavos is the same as Duties of the Heart
feivelParticipantim not sure what you are applying in your title: the CRY of lashon hora
but your question was answered there in numerous posts, in numerous ways by different posters, and with examples and at least one real life incident
here is a quote from my first post there:
“it is lashon hara to post it here.
in private discussions with an individual who needs to know the information, it may be permitted. when it is and isnt needs Halachic guidance.”
so the answer to your question if you still need one is YES
there are times “when someone’s looking for serious information that its permitted to give the truth out? ex. camps, seminaries, etc.”
but remember, to post negative information here where it will be read by thousands of Jews who have NO NEED for the information is lashon hara or motzei shem ra, in most cases.

January 19, 2012 5:18 pm at 5:18 pm in reply to: Would you post NEGATIVE Info about yeshiva/Sem/Camps?? #1193667feivelParticipantWouldnt it be fair to hear honest reviews ?
first of all you are in all likelihood hearing honest reviews.
you are just not hearing the other side, if there is one.
i know you are not a big proponent of adhering to Halachah, preferring “common sense”, but posting negative and or damaging information about a Jewish owned business on a public website is LASHON HORAH. lashon harah is ASSUR. it is WRONG and UGLY in the eyes of YOUR Creator.
i wont repeat what i said in my first post, feel free to read it, but there is a very big difference in Halachah between posting a public condemnation of a Jew or Jewish institution, and privately seeking such information for a constructive purpose.
so is there any value in such threads, i certainly think so. look through them. yyou will see descriptions of various types of philosophy, size, frumness, hashkafa, tuition, location, and much other useful information

yes they blocked my feivel account
feivelParticipantTry using a syringe and place it as far back in their mouths as you can so as you squirt it in it bypasses the tongue and they don’t really have to taste it.
Aries……..thanks. I will try that
reason #429 not to take (or give) medical advice in the cr:
if you take this advice make sure the syringe you use is placed to the far side of the mouth, to the side of the tongue, not in the center of the mouth over the tongue. that can be dangerous (even life-threatening, such as aspiration).
and its not necessary to place as far back as possible, that can be quite unpleasant for the child, making the next time more difficult. about an inch or so is fine. the idea is not so much to bypass the tongue as to cause a forced swallowing reflex.
feivelParticipanti am down 60 lbs
actually its 62 pounds.
feivelParticipantgo to google
the multicolored “Google” on top has a big black box blocking it.
if you click on it you are directed to a page to sign a petition to block the sopa legislation
these two efforts (google and wiki) are powerful
i wonder if they will be called into use again in the future re other issues or supporting or censuring candidates.
could completely change politics as we know it
feivelParticipantthis is a little tangential, but does apply to chazarah.
i just heard a few minutes ago on a tape from Rabbi Avigdor Miller, tz’l,
that when learning Gemorah it is advisable to have in mind that you are going to have to say over the sugya, or the Tosfos or whatever, to someone later that day, like youre going to give a Shiur to young Bochrim. then say it over to yourself without looking in the Gemorrah.
feivelParticipantThe gemara mentions that chazarah was done 4 times by Moshe Rabbeinu
if you look at any page of Gemorah you will notice there are 4 lines of Rashi, and 4 lines of Tosfos above the Gemorah. some think that is a remez to chazarah 4 times
feivelParticipanti believe those are quotes of rabbi boteachs response to rabbi wolfs letter criticizing him.
not excerpts from the book
feivelParticipantinteresting
i googled it
and got no meaningful results.
this is the message that appeared on the search page:
“The word “ami” has been filtered from the search because Google SafeSearch is active.
ami?
feivelParticipantnot really turned in
more like stolen from my locker in the middle of the night
they kicked me out
something about my preference for tea over coffee
i know the real reason though
feivelParticipantvery funny 95
January 12, 2012 3:49 pm at 3:49 pm in reply to: Sem Girls Brainwashing Married Women working #842878feivelParticipanti dont think its proper to call cleverjewishpun reform.
the reform, though terribly misguided, tend to be tolerant and respectful, and not act on a compulsive need to express bitterness and sarcastic antagonism to everything more religious than they.
feivelParticipantRabbi Boteach Responds to Rabbi Wolf:
<on the HuffPost. Google it>
by the way, Rabbi Boteachs description of oso ha-ish, in this statement, corresponds closely to the description given by Rabbi Avigdor Miller, zt’l
Sorry 80, you want to approve that link, you just log right in and do it. -95
feivelParticipantmr dad
it might just be my imagination, but it seems like every one of your posts in every thread you post in, regardless of subject, is an opportunity for you to express your hatred (or something a bit lighter) either directly, or more usually as an implication, of those who are more religious than you.
unfortunately, as i am no longer a moderator, your posts are becoming more frequent as time goes on.
feivelParticipantcertainly these issues are beyond me
but i recall, when i was becoming frum and would eat only Milchigs in restaurants,
i used to go to a small shack type grill place (not Kosher, at all) near my office and order a grilled cheese sandwich.
i would watch as they would grill up some navaila burgers on this grill (a solid sheet of metal not a grate) then grill up my cheese sandwhich on the same grill. i didnt know this was a problem. they probably grilled some pork products on the same grill as well.
now if i had asked for and received a detailed and complete list of every ingredient in that cheese sandwich, would it have mentioned beef and pork juice and particles?
feivelParticipanti see no reason to take offense at any of the above jokes. no one is being made fun of
however this one you can take offense at:
Q: Who told you that?
A: Sum Dum Goi
feivelParticipantfeivelParticipantthere is an actual kosher restaurant called:”Tain Li Chow”
