I went to a school that caters to many types of girls(chassidish, Livish) and we learnt about it from Oz V’Hadar Levusha for a short time and had many workshops and panels on the topic to help us master the halachos and get the proper hashkafos to go along with it.
The easiest places to vacation to are ones where there are a lot of minyanim so that you don’t have to make yourself crazy to be back on time for that one minyan in the one shul in some small hicktown.
I heard a story of a guy who took a girl in a car and drove past a BMW dealer at which he had hung a sign saying “Be My Wife”
I’m 5’6″ and I love being tall. I feel bad for girls who are short because I know my short friends have a very hard time finding clothes that look good on them and don’t make them look dumpy even when they’re thin.
I think its a great place to vacation. I live here and besides for the noise which might be a little annoying, I think it is a very convenient place to be for shopping and eating out.

One famous store in Flatbush auctioned their first pie off a few years ago for Chai Lifeline and we won it.(was only for about $50) Was about half raw- but at least money went to tzedaka!
I have a few BB shirts that i’ve been washing, drying, and wearing every day(basically) this year and they still look great- though not pressed, they look fresh and neat!
On tisha b’av when we watch the films about the war, we all end up crying.

Not all Bugaboos are so expensive. I know someone who got one for 500(on sale)which is the price of a regular stroller and they said that it is a really great carriage.

To student- stop complaining. Most schools that are giving off now only had 2-3 days midwinter vacation so really it cancels out(either one week straight or split into a few different times) I personally think this way is better because if kids are off for a week straight they (and their mothers) go crazy while like this they have a short vacation to relax and have fun and then they go back to school.
As a teen that’s a teacher, I think teachers try their best to be fair but usually have a reason why they feel the way they do- if they feel they’re right it’s because they are basing it on something.
How about a teacher- if someone has a few kids, 50 dollars each can add up to a pretty high amount.

Ladies and girls in my family only fast Yom Kippur and Tisha B’av. So I’m not fasting today.
You can buy it in a grocery for about 12 a lb.-usually is still fresh-we buy from the rav of our shul and pay 22.50 but its baked in Nissan.
We buy 15 lbs for a family of 5 adults.-usually we have just enough to save 1 lb. for pesach sheini.
We say totty. “Pop” wouldn’t go over very well in my house.
You might want to try a field where you would work physically. Ex: electrician, plumber, heating/AC… – they make a nice living and there’s no hard schooling involved.

maybe concerts should be separate except for families with young kids (like boys on one side, girls on the distant other side and families in between)I don’t go often but one year(like ten years ago) there was a big concert in Jacob Reis Park with Dachs, freid… and this was the arrangement. I think it worked very well.

I use regular rice thats overcooked with a little vinegar added instead of regular sushi rice. In my family, this goes over much better than the terribly, strongly smelly sushi rice recipes.

Everyone should ask their own sheila on whats ok for them.
We “mish” on Pesach and we do buy processed foods but we don’t buy all these ‘look alikes’ because we want to have a ‘real’ pesach experience!

Yoyo-don’t worry, you can wear a shirt under most sweaters-and brooks brothers has non iron ones that don’t require more care than a shell so they’re really wash, dry and wear!!
Especially something that’s cheap, it pays to get rid of just for your sanity.

Anyway, I would get rid of itbecause if you kept everything that you may be able to use”one day”, you would have to buy a warehouse to store it.
