elyaberMemberHelp!!! Can anyone tell me about this camp? About the staff, the kids etc. My son really wants to go and i called the camp who say that they are almost full and will be closing registration in the next two weeks! If there is anyone out there that knows real information about this camp in Eretz Yisrael please let me know!!
Thannks
elyaberMember@onegoal for different reasons we never ended up sending. What info can u let me know about this camp. My son is a normal regular Yeshiva kid learning in Chafetz Chaim. He is looking for a Torah dika summer in Eretz Yisrael. What would be the difference between Camp Emes and lets say Sdei Chemed ?
thanks
elyaberMemberThank you thank you! I will call later on today. I did find out that this trip to Poland is happening and it is being led by Rabbi Krohn. It did not make sense because i was under the impression that he does not do these trip private. Either way i appreciate that you actually took the effort to go out of your way to find out the information for me. It just goes to show what a nice person you are that you had felt my son should be going to CA and yet you dug up this info for us. I also appreciate all you are telling us about the camps director he does sound like a great guy and someone who can inspire and invigorate our son. B
i will tell him IYH when i speak to him that a fellow by the name geshmockster spoke highly of him maybe that is a code name which he will know who you are. Best regards and a wonderful day !
elyaberMemberGeshmockster.
my son was in Csmp Agudah and while we were quite happy there i believe that one should have an apropriate experience in Eretz Yisrael. As well my son is a good boy buy highly energetic and at the same time does not like sports. my Rav suggested a traveling camp would be good for him.My guess is that the focus in this camp is not really on the sports. Obviously ruach and learning need to be up to par for him. I really appreciate all your efforts in going out of your way to get me the camps info. Are you friends with R’ Eli ? I plan on calling him tomorrow can send him regards…have a great week!
elyaberMemberThank you very much onegoal! I am curious you are implying that the kid loved it and for some reasons cant go back which means that he wants to go back but is unable? I am asking because i want to know about this program why would he be unable to go back did he get thrown out? Is money the issue and most importantly did he grow in Ruchnyos there? I appreciate your help as we really are interested. By the way can your friend tell me about the staff? and i would like to know how the supervision is.
Thanks
elyaberMemberBtw i was not going to answer “camp guy” because i felt it was inapropriate that i all i was doing was trying to find some info for a summer program for my wonderful son who is a great NORMAL yeshiva bocher who works hard the entire year and deserves to go to an uplifting ,inspiring and fun summer! instead i get some angry response from someone who obviously is living in the past! With all due respect what does a surfing camp have to do with a summer in Eretz Yisrael and a trip to Poland led by Rabbi Paysach Krohnn??????
elyaberMemberAttention Geshmockster
do you know more about his camp? about this trip to poland? I dont see it advertised anywhere?
elyaberMemberOnce we are on the topic. Does anyone know info about Rabbi Merenstein’s camp in Eretz Yisrael.(this is part of the topic because Rabbi Merenstein is non other then the famous elmer of Camp Agudah amazing counselor actor song writer and most geshmaka counselor. I was never there when he was there but my nephew had him twice. In fact who do you think made all of Rabbi Lichtmans night activities fun? Just another example of a Ruach Country boy who learnt all his leadership qualities in his formative years in Camp Agudah. He led and rocked the dining room like no other. His signature baddda da da dum was almost as loud as the great Shuie Brick! either way i hear his program is phenomonal!! I am interested in getting ahold of his contact details. This summer his camp will be taking the boys on a pre camp trip to poland. I have heard that the program will be led by Rabbi Payach Krohn!!!
I think all camps are great but its time our boys have an apropriate educational summer as well. I think it is great that they will learn about the holocaust and then continue on to a summer in Eretz Yisrael! If anyone can help me find information i would like to send my 13 year old son…
