Judaism is a middle eastern religion and the Ashkenazi have turned it into a liberal let women do everything western religion. Is it any wonder why the reform and the weakening of Judaism came from Europe. In the middle east where Judaism comes from the men were unquestionably in charge of everything relating to halakha and religion while the women took care of keeping home in tact. Regardless of the minhagim of lighting the chanukah there is a sense today that we must justify why only men do certian mitzvot as if we are being put on trial…Bias Ya’akov graduates fight with their husbands because they think the one minhag they learned in their school is torah lemoshe mi sinai and wont listen to her husband who knows that is not the case. My grandparents alav hashalom from Yemen were an example to me, my grandmother was no push over and my grandfather did not treat her as a slave but their roles were clear my grandfather was in charge of everything to do with religion and my grandmother ran the home…she never asked why she could’nt put on tefilin or light the menorah and he never dared tell her how to cook, clean, who to invite for a meal, which simkha they would attend etc. They were married for nearly seventy years aleihem hashalom; they fought their fare share and had great times too. Today the women want to be men and the men want to let them. This is why Torah Judaism is becoming like a debate on the view or some other garbage talkshow and why half of every frum marriage now ends in divorce and more Jewish singles cant or wont marry.

I don’t understand when women became the mediators of shidduchim, they don know hilkhos loshon horah and therefore they potentially break or make matches that are against halakha. In the Sefaradi world Men namely the fathers in consultation with the rabbanim would make the decisions. Is it any wonder that we have a huge shidduch crisis.

I do not believe in any human being only hashem that is enough for me yet it seems that chabad is not content to worship hashem alone. Chabad has lost the big picture and like christians they have lost the plot…they have abandoned the Ikar which is Hahsem and obsess over a tafel a mortal human bring. I believe in hashem not mashiach. Chazal say Assur Lechashev et hakez a directive violated grossly by the Chabad everyday. The rebbe is being whorshipped by Chabad much the same way as Yushka is by the christians…the messiah is all important comparable to God and ultimately replaces God.

Gittel frum Feige etc are German names period. My father’s family Yemenite Jews used only hebrew names from the Tanach with no diminutives needed and as chazal forbade such diminutives the Yemenites do not give diminutives. There are plenty of Hebrew names for females there is no need for excuses for german names its just an excuse for assimilation that has no justification. Why are Ashkenazim so opposed to abandoning a language or even roots of such language that comes from a people who had very nearly destroyed them

No a person who has died cannot rise from the dead and be mashiach….that is a minority opinion of the gemara not one which is accepted and even if it was accepted the opinion in the gemara says that if mashiach was from the dead it would be the prophet Daniel and no one else. I’m sorry Chabad Gal but Chabad brainwashes its followers to believe things that are against chazal and the torah and not accepted by the majority of the Jewish people and yes according to the Torah you MUST follow the majority.

I don’t understand where women got the role as Shaddchanit Its isn’t mentioned anywhere that a woman who knows no pertinent halacha with regards to Lashon Hara and what she is supposed to tell either party is in charge of Shidduchim, In the Sepharadi world the parents guided by the Rabbanim make the decision. Its like being amazed that mortality rates are skyrocketing when doctors are replaced by janitors….Are we following Halacha or Fiddler on the Roof?

You are right! Maasei Avot Siman Labanim…Avraham sent Eliezer his slave to look for a shidduch……Why then are we using female match makers who have no knowledge of halakha? They break potential match based on their own knowledge without consulting a Rav! How many shidduchim have been broken up based on Lashon Hara or the ignorant whim of a Shaddkhanit

millions of sefaradi have nothing to do with yiddish…ivrit IS THE international langugae of most Jews…you need to know know hebrew to read and understand torah…I have spoken ivirit all my life and while it might have some differences than biblical Hebrew they are both fully mutually intelligible while Yiddish and Biblical hebrew are not because biblical hebrew is NOT based on medieval German

Both my parents were fulltime workers simply a nessecity for yeshiva, food clothing etc.

In todays horrible economic times a wife MUST work especially if neither in laws are rich. Average NYS sallary is 30,000. Grils need to wake up and understand that if they want their children to have a yeshiva education plus all the nessecities two sallaries is a must
