How do people manage to misread me??

Tzippi;I in no way equated weight gain with bad midos. Please re-read my post, without injecting implications that were not there.Thank you.(metabolism is not always in one’s control)

Health; Re:”excuse not to try”?If you read my post SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY,you will see that my question is:

Since it often takes time to correct a midah/lose weight…perhaps it isn’t feasible to wait until then to begin dating,or nobody would ever be absolutely “ready”.

WIY:I am not referring to midos that make one “unmarriageable”.Or weight that is “over the top”.Average range imperfections, that compromise what the person deeems his/her personal value to be.

Therapy is in place,of course. Not all(ridiculously inexperienced) therapists know what they’re doing, but we are in the process of upgrading that!

    Tzippi,I don’t understand your question.Please explain.

WIY:The troubled males and troubled females are MAGNETS for each other, and I am totally tuned in to the scene.(Only ostriches stick their heads in the sand)

Health:Some schools exacerbate the problems, and some(like the one she’s in now),are thankfully, part of the solution.I thank Hashem(and them) for every positive shaliach.

Ever hear of Sister To Sister? There are about 500 “precious few” of us frum and ehrlich women of all ages. The number is staggering, but yiras shomayim is quite popular. We try to make the best of our individual matzovim. In fact, inappropriate behavior(rare) results in the person literally being “bumped”from the program.

What about women speakers?I personally enjoyed tapes by Rebitzen Rasia Busel(a”h).She was so humble, and spoke from her heart.

If someone is hurt, you don’t dissect it,you correct it.

A simple “no harm meant”is sufficient.

Ona’as devorim on the internet…Mods, why do you allow it?Especially,if one poster is clearly older than the other, even more respect is due.

I would undo every word shouted in anger which accomplished nothing.JUSTIFIED frustration was a test from Hashem, and outrage at horrible things HAD to be addressed, but shouting convinces no one of anything.

I WOULD HAVE DAVENED harder for superhuman strength and patience. Hashem could have given it to me.I know that now, because I talk to Hashem in plain English all the time,AND HE REALLY HELPS ME.

One reason I would not is because there are so many nasty jokes about Jews chasing every last penny,my doing so would only incite comments from non-Jewish passersby.AND THESE DAYS A PENNY IS HARDLY WORTHWHILE BENDING DOWN FOR…the chiropractor bills are way higher!

If anyone thought someone they KNEW was reading their posts, this thread would be very short. The twist this has taken is 100% not for a public forum and plants seeds of distorted thinking about Torah.I respectfully suggest it be closed.

A GPS is popular ’cause every guy in the world would choose a soft,calm,endlessly-patient woman’s voice gently telling him”re-routing” for the 14th time,to his wife screeching”Will you stop being such a (?) and ASK DIRECTIONS ALREADY???”

Don’t look at me,I never did that. Some of my friends, however,….

First of all the guy in the megila story may have been a baal t’shuva and NOT HEARD THE MEGILA THAT MANY TIMES AT ALL.Or might have not known it well for a zillion other legit reason.

Even Moshe Rabeinu forgot a halacha TEMPORARILY because Hashem wanted him to…

And Hashgacha Pratis…I was freezing cold yesterday and needed a car service to get to a second downtown appointment…with a document that had to be notarized.

I saw a sign that said NOTARY PUBLIC,went in,and the woman asked me where I needed to GO!It was ,of all places,an upscale livery/car service with a notary public on the premises!
