s2021…don’t you love when they say…”send him love, send him forgiveness”….I want to say I was thinking more like a mail bomb…JUST KIDDING EVERYONE,but I couldn’t resist.

Health…I can’t create my own miracle. If Hashem thinks it’s a good idea,He will lead me down that path somehow. For now, apparently,He agrees with me!:)

I smile politely and say “I’m a single mother now” or just “I’m not…”(ie.married–understood by the pause)

With the smile, they don’t feel like they made me uncomfortable.

And when the inevitable “I’m so sorry” comes,I say “It’s better this way” or “It needed to happen” and THE CONVERSATION MOVES ON.

(when the person has brains, that is)

Health,I thought about my kids (without LOLing) many times. It’s one of the reasons I took extra vitamins today! Gotta live long!:)

About the first thing you said…my feelings on that matter have not yet changed! Only a miracle can do that.

I am not scared of it,either.

But I would want to live long to be there for my children and hopefully grandchildren,b’ezras Hashem.

I also want more PRECIOUS TIME to “accumulate points” in Olam Haba.

And I was told certain types of gehinnom down here cancel one’s “reservation” up there.Hope that’s so.

It depends if you made a kiddush for your daughter when she was born, and other kabbalistic factors.

    Oh,what am I saying?

    I meant “their moods”.

    smartcookie: I agree.

s2021: Totally! It bothers me when my daughters keep hearing about their(ka”h) appearance, and no one talks about character. It makes girls think that’s all others notice,so it must be EXTREMELY important!

If I am able to,I add “She’s beautiful on the inside, too”–just so they hear that it matters.Once they are teens, though,it sounds bit juvenile(for me to say that) and plus it’s better to feel pretty than have a zillion complexes.

    MY POINT HERE IS:

Let’s compliment what we want to see more of: GOOD CHARACTER!!!

metrodriver…I was not referring to Mr.X as I never thought of him as “handsome”.I just meant that middos are better developed SOMETIMES in more average-looking people because there is no “distraction” of beauty.

I personally see beauty in MOST people I know (everyone has something special about them),but I meant the way the world at large sees “beauty”.

I also feel that our youthful appearance is more likely to remain with us if we are kind to others…I don’t know why, maybe it’s plain old wishful thinking? Fear of aging?

Sender…my mother also had that illness. But that’s not why. It’s because in certain ways,my life events have followed a similar track, and I sometimes wonder where the similarities will end…

It’s a well-written letter, and it will impress those who know how true it is.

But don’t hold your breath waiting for convoluted media controllers to portray the truth.

    Lies sell more papers.

Being that reshai’im are busy with a lifetime of “rasha v’tov lo”…they are fooled into thinking they are being rewarded for their tzidkus(partially true). This is reinforced by others who see things similarly. So when and why should they ever contemplate doing teshuvah??

    Yes,cucumber,this is made-up.

I think about death in these 3 main contexts:

    #1: Hayom kotzer v’hamlacha meruba…we must accomplish,and correct ourselves.

#2: Also,I look forward to being surrounded by truth, absolute truth.

#3: I wonder if I will merit to outlive the age of my mother, who was nifteres at the age of 50.

I’m not sure if that was meant positively, chayav, but Hashem has seen fit to send me quite a few simultaneous tests recently,so I guess my mind has been focused on addressing them.Since I’m back to my least favorite thing: stopping what I’m doing to check for important e-mails–I check in to the CR sometimes too.

Calculated destruction of another human being with Nazi-like precision earns you a deluxe suite in you-know-where.

You are also responsible for any children who are turned off of frumkeit because you are a monster underneath your facade.

Do I sound upset? I’m sorry. It’s a touchy subject for me.

    I hear you cucumber.

But an abuser who suffered MUST STOP THE PERPETUATION of that which made him suffer…because he is NOW GUILTY TOO.

And the people who ENABLE the abuser to abuse while showering him with support are NO LESS GUILTY.

The first box represents a person who is ever-complacent with his midos and leads an entirely superficial life.

The 3 boxes represent the above person with 2 of his friends.
