write or wrong, I think you’re wrong in saying that most people don’t have sympathy for a child that’s otd, any thinking person should, it’s obvious that they are struggling and are unhappy. Unfortunately there are some “rabbis” who don’t act like a rabbi should, but always remeber, no matter where you’re child goes, he is always g-d’s child, and g-d will always love him, and every child deserves to be treated with sensitivity, and respect, since every child has a tzelem elokim.If you don’t reject him, or try to restrict him to much, there’s a big chance he’ll come back, many children do, if they have a warm home to come back to.
