I’m not speaking from a girl’s perspective but I’d assume if a nice short story with a nice message/vort in it came up– and was relevant to the conversation, then it would be fine. It would just be akward/boring if it was a planned monologue… am I right?

I don’t agree with “red head” either. I like when guys bring Torah into the conversations. Granted, I’m not gonna understand a long, hard Gemara but a little here and there is definitely not a turn off.

I often leave small love notes on heart-shaped Post-Its around the house for Eeees. When she finds them, she hangs them up in the kitchen. Currently the entire doorframe leading from the kitchen to the dining room is covered in them. She says that it reminds her. 🙂

That’s why I only drink coffee (and tea) from Starbucks. There are drinks there that are parve but made in dairy equipment so I don’t have that.
And I checked the article but that dates back to ’07. I’m gonna research updates to it. Thanks though!

I don’t either agree with your approach. You’d be surprised how many shidduchim come about that you would never have dreamed of. Not giving a reason makes a person think that there’s a bigger problem than there probably is.

You want a watch. Whether it’s a big deal or not, you’re not getting one. It’s up to you whether you want to start a fight about it. Like Wolf said, what’s more important? The girl or the watch? In my opinion you should focus on your kallah more than on superficial things.
I can live my own life with out being controlled by anyone.

I think for the CPA you can just print it yourself. Crop a picture of just your face and cut it down to passport size. Definitely cheaper than getting it done anywhere.
I just wanted to mention, that the actual B&W halachos of tznius are few and far between. Most of it is hergush – personal feelings. For examlple, find me the halacha that one should not call a strange person of the opposite gender by their first name. You wont find it. Most People wont do it. Why not?
